April 4, 20196 yr but I think you can technically already chart if a certain number of songs is already available, cannot remember the exact rules tom walker's album showed in the mids one week before release and I think it was cos half the album tracks were already released That was revoked for the official chart on the Friday though.
April 4, 20196 yr This is all pretty great to be honest. I like every single song on it! I find ‘Superstar’ kinda sad though, just the way it’s sung and some of the lyrics but have no idea why. I need to listen to the new songs more. K bye
April 4, 20196 yr revoked or missed the top 100? Well it was the Thursday or Wednesday update IIRC, so I doubt an album would drop out of the top 100 from the 20s.
April 4, 20196 yr Ranking after 3 full listens: 01. Enjoy Your Life 02. True 03. Baby 04. Handmaid Heaven 05. End Of the Earth 06. Orange Trees 07. To Be Human (sorry, not sorry) 08. Superstar Only Superstar is skippable (although I won't skip until a few more listens to the album in it's entirety) the rest are legit 7.5 or above. Soooo good! :wub: Such an improvement from Froot which I only took about 3 songs away from! Really don't see the hype with that and I've tried and tried </3
April 6, 20196 yr Listening to it as one, I appreciate it a lot more than when the songs were coming individually. Enjoy Your Life and To Be Human are definite faves. I’m so happy she’s in a more positive place and it seems as though she’s more proud/happy about this than any other era. It’s not my favourite collection from her but I can still take something away from it. Plus there’s still Fear which we know nothing about what it will sound like as of yet~
April 7, 20196 yr If these tracks make an album then this is easily her worst :( Marina’s lyrics have never been perfect but there’s always been something to them which is interesting or makes me feel something but I listen to ‘Enjoy Your Life’ and it’s got a catchy beat, a great vocal and I SHOULD enjoy it but I get...nothing. The lyrics, minus ‘To Be Human’, ‘Handmade Heaven’ and ‘To Be Human’ (maybe the final track to an extent) are paper thin. Don’t get me wrong, I bop to most of these tracks. But if I wanted just basic bops, I’d listen to Speak Your Mind or Phoenix.

April 11, 20196 yr To Be Human is easily my favourite so far. I’ve always liked how her lyrics are analytic of human beings but this is such a good representation of our world in that visual. Orange Trees is also still very high in my ranking :wub: should be a summer smash but we know that’s unlikely :lol:
April 15, 20196 yr Superstar is one of my firm faves now. Can’t fully appreciate Orange Trees yet though, although I’m sure it’ll sound great in the summer.
April 24, 20196 yr I can't believe Fear is out on Friday. Where did the hype go? This is gonna be her first album not to debut top ten isn’t it :angry: I honestly think it’s gonna debut between 15 - 20.
