Anyone been playing this? Just got into it after a few people recommended and it is so addictive! If you don't know what it is, it's a 100 player game where you all skydive onto a map and you have to be the last one standing, you go around and find the best weapons, stuff to craft shelters etc. to aid you in getting to #1.

 

Best of all it's FREE and on PS4 you don't even need to pay PS Plus to play online multiplayer :D There's also cross platform play with PS4, PC and even mobile! It's also available on Xbox One. It's something a bit different to what I usually play and I usually don't like shooters that much so wasn't sure I'd like it but it's so addictive, it's that "just one more" mentality when you get really high one time, or last a while and end up making a stupid mistake so want to test your strategy again and be a bit more careful :lol:

I downloaded it this afternoon! I got to 4th in my first match by just camping out until I couldn't. Seems pretty fun, the sort of thing I was kind of wanting from PUBG but wouldn't pay what they're asking, so that it's free is really good.

 

Will have to go back and see if I can figure out the building stuff.

I got to 5th on my 3rd or 4th go in the same way, that's what makes it so addicitve because I think "if I had just been a bit more vigilant and seen that trap I could have got top 3 or won" :lol:

 

I think the building stuff will be integral to winning and consistently doing well so I'm gonna need to properly figure that out too!

Have a look at Darwin Project, it’s like Fortnite & PUBG but significantly better. There’s a “Director” role too where you can decide which parts of the map are blocked off, start manhunts on certain players, give out loot, and other buffs/disadvantages like in The Hunger Games

The building thing seems a little ridiculous and campy visually but it does add another layer to the depth, despite the pastel colours.

Campy colours and crappy gameplay. The gameplay is the worst I have experienced on q next gen game ... After FF15, of course

I mean it's a free game, it's not gonna be next gen world renowned graphics :lol: It's also still early access. It's supposed to be just a fun mutliplayer game.

I absolutely love this!!!!! I’ve only had a VR on teams before but have got second a few times. The key to winning is definitely building and I’m still quite bad at it :lol:

What do you mean by play, like start a match or controls? :lol: That's the annoying thing it doesn't give you any controls so I died a couple of times my first tries because I was trial and erroring the controls although I should have goggled really :lol:

After you've signed up, when you start it up you should just have to press triangle on PS4, idk the button on others but it says in the bottom right corner? Like you have your avatar thing, at the top of the different menu sections left is other shit and then bottom right it says whatever button to start and you can change mode (solo or group etc.)
