I have notified everyone involved by PM. I can't explain how awful I feel right now... I know it's just a online contest, but I still feel terrible for ruining this for those four members.

My joy so CRUELLY snatched away :cry: But I knew as soon as I saw there was an error that I was the one who would fall foul of it, no worries nonetheless, I certainly wouldn't have wanted to get through on a clerical error.

Not the first time this happened and it won't be the last, tis just the nature of having to rely on inputting so many numbers into a spreadsheet ~ dw about it Erik, at the end of the day it's swapping songs that were never going to win with other songs that are never going to win and it's better to have it fixed than not.

 

'Koto' and 'Next To Me' to be interval acts during the final plug session I guess?? :P ('Koto' as an interlude actually makes a lot of sense tbh)

Jadakissnia's national record streak comes to a sad halt after 10 in a row but the top 3 continue to extend their records, Aeroche and Cor Lupus to a 17th final in a row each and Trifoski to a 16th. Holland-Oats follow their first qualifier last month with another to start their first qualification streak. Following the slight mixup~ St. Burbia make it to 4 in a row to match their record previously set in BJSCs 95-98. Lotunia also make it to 3 in a row, matching the record they set in their first 3 contests, BJSCs 95-97 (meaning they've gone from 3 Qs in a row to 3 DNQs in a row to another 3 Qs in a row #satisfying). Buzzjack Mountain pick up their fourth qualifier, they're yet to get a streak of qualifiers so this matches their 'record' of 1. Besides that, Kluminican Republic get to ten entries in a row qualifying for the first time (but still split by them missing a contest).

YES!! "Not bottom 3" was all I wanted, just felt like sending a curveball entry and seeing who would like it. Pleased to see 6 people voted for it, twice as many as my last entry IIRC.

 

I guess the results went okay overall, only losing my 1, 2, and 7-pointers although I'm really shocked that Singerpurear didn't qualify! Vulkyria too to a lesser extent. Zaminton's was underrated, glad to see I wasn't the only fan!

It seems I may have been in the wrong semi based on who was stanning my song. :lol: But thanks to everyone who did root for my debut entry and especially to everyone who gave me points (namely Botanikka and Trifoski who gave me high marks <3), I'll be sure to give something way different next month lol.

Damn, my and y'alls tastes do not go together apparently. Lost 4 of my top 10 and I'm honestly baffled that some of these songs qualified over these and my song. Especially gutted that USoJ is out as that was my second fav song of the semi. So good and instant!

Also lost 3 songs from my would-be semi 1 rooster. Very shocked that Jadakissnia is out, was one of my guarantees and again these 3 being out over some of the songs that qualified is just downright confusing. I really don't get the collective taste of this forum but at least my top 3 qualified here lmao.

just catching up on the excitement, it all adds to the fun! So easy to do Jerick so don't worry, trust me I input bloody figures into spreadsheets quite a lot for work purposes and I still make mistakes - juggling phone calls, time pressures, emails whatever it's difficult to be 100% without cross-checking figured into it...

 

 

Eledan is a big loss from semi 1, boo hiss on that one, along with 3 others from our pointers. Thanks to Singerpurear's voters we love you all :lol: Pity about Strawhatz but our rather fab Strawhatz-themed entry I think came last in the recent final so it would have been amusing to have them do that again.
