Heaven Takes You Home is good, even though the style of vocal from Connie Constance is a bit Mimi Webb-esque so wouldn't be my favourite!

Finally getting around to giving this one a first play this evening, I have mixed feelings but generally agree with what most are saying, and predictably favouring Heaven Takes You Home with the happy news that it is the next single after Redlight flopped.

"Heaven Takes You Home" is probably the best of all, although it doesn't really satisfy me a lot.

"Time" is pretty future house-ish, so ok. But, the vocals might be forgettable.

I'm surprised they haven't tagged their older songs on the back to help with streaming points for the album.

I doubt SHM care enough about having a slightly higher chart position to go against their artistic integrity and tack all their old hits on the album when they've changed their sound a lot since.

The album's at #51 in today's mids so hopefully it can end up scraping the chart anyhow. Likewise Heaven Takes You Home is at #90 in the singles.

Heaven Takes You Home lands at #93 in the singles chart, whilst the album flails into #70 with barely over 1,500 sales
is this album the biggest underperform of 2022? Bombed everywhere

Deservedt tbh. Really weak and mediocre music.

physicals don’t make any difference these days anyway and the majority of their market would be streamers anyway, it’s been. hugely disappointing area all around

I didn't like 'Heaven Takes You Home' at all (Connie's voice is a no) but actually really enjoyed nearly all of the rest of the album so I guess I'm basically the opposite to everyone else here

Obviously it's very different from their old stuff but I am liking their new sound(s) as well - think my current top 5 from the album tracks are (not in order) 'Can U Feel It', 'Don't Go Mad', 'Home', 'Mafia' and 'Time'. Never realised the outro snippet in the music video for 'Moth To A Flame' was actually teasing a new song so it was hype to hear that at the start of 'Mafia' again *.* 'Home' is such a vibe as well, I've been tending to find the more ambient/chill tracks on electronic albums underwhelming lately but this is a big exception, that's actually a contender for my fave on the whole thing.

'Frankenstein' feels quite out of place on here but it's still a bit of a banger (I see it's actually a song that leaked years ago lol so yay for it getting a belated release I suppose). '19.30' is fab too but needs to be like twice as long as it is. I thought the vocalist on 'Another Minute' sounded a lot like 070 Shake again, looked it up and it is indeed her, so curious why she's not credited on that when she is on 'Lifetime'? I much prefer this song anyway, 'Lifetime' was a little better than I remembered it being but still probably my 2nd least favourite on the album after 'Heaven Takes You Home'.

'It Gets Better' still bangs as well, y'all underrated that way too hard.

Heaven Takes You Home re-enters the chart with a new peak of #90 today

Promising. I hope it can climb higher.

In the meantime, here’s a belatedly late remix this week from Moojo for Moth To A Flame;

'Heaven Takes You Home' music video is finally here

I noticed this re-entered the chart again today at #87 but the OCC are treating it as a new entry and ignoring its previous run
'Heaven Takes You Home' has grown on me a bit, I think it's decent now. But still probably my least favourite song on the album lol, just wish it had a better vocalist. Cool that it's having some chart longevity for them though I suppose (even if rather low down).
