I love hearing stories of nice celebs in real life, the minogues seem to be in the minor who are true celebrities but have remained down to earth.

She was so lovely, what a doll!

 

When she asked "how are you doing?" I said "all the better for seeing you" 🤦‍♂️ (but I think that appealed to her sense of humour, so it was fine haha). I told her the album has been an integral part of my life for 20 years and she said "well, this is a big responsibility I'm carrying" :lol: I said to her that I hope her hand isn't hurting, as she'd been at it for hours by that point and still had a lot of people to go.

Aw, I hoped the amount it had sold might help it make a lowly appearance in the first update. Especially given it must take roughly that amount to do it!

It wasn't released as the fifth single - it was supposed to be on JCAs album, hence why there's only the Sebastian Kraig remix as a hidden track on the original Neon Nights.

 

As for why it was withdrawn... I assume radio just didn't pick it up, there was no video for it and they cancelled the release. I don't think there's a mystery there.

No, not a mystery but a nice to have snippet.

 

Always find it odd that labels go to the trouble of marketing, promoting and producing physical products as well as commission remixes and then drop it at the last minute.

 

I have several of the German promos for the single as well as the withdrawn CD single - radio support or not, it was ready to go so they should have just thrown it out.
