Re-enters at #42 on the UK album sales chart!

That's great! I didn't even consider the fact that it might re-enter due to her doing a signing.

Re-enters at #42 on the UK album sales chart!

Appearing in several charts - 11th best selling album at Independent Stores is impressive for 1 album signing.

Record Store Chart #11

Indie Album Chart #20

Physical Album Chart #35

Sales Chart #42

Do we know how much it sold or an estimate?

42 is a great result!! Beating the #55 position earlier this year !

Hopefully Girl gets a signing when she is back in the UK for more QVC commitments!

Number 55 was its overall position the last time so I'm assuming it was much higher on the actual sales chart then than number 55.
Girl at least hitting Top 30 would be amazing. Out doing the horrible 57# in the UK.

Yeah ‘Neon Nights’ was #13 on the album sales chart when it was re-released.

Makes me think with all the store sign ins and small promo....should have just dropped a new album.

Maybe Dannii is more comfortable with the low pressure stakes of reissuing old albums, compared to a new album involving a heavier workload and higher expectations placed upon it.

I guess the best we can hope for is that these reissues & the response to them, gives her the confidence and the drive to want to do another album.

It’s what I’ve always said - she can enjoy and celebrate a re-issue at her own pace with no expectations for it to go Top 10 etc.,

For a new album she’d have to do the promo trail - TV, Radio, signings, launch shows etc., for potentially very little return (a 9-out kind of affair) so I get why she and others might not be interested.

Not to mention, god forbid, another comparison between her and Kylie. I guess the reason she switched her career to TV is because TV is one area Kylie hasn't really touched since Neighbours.

I thought she switched to tv cause it's a good steady income and consistent. Whereas you dont make much from music unless you do sell out tours .
A review of ‘Put the Needle On It’ on Can’t Stop the Pop:

Was never a huge fan of put the needle on it, its just one of those songs that doesnt go anywhere for me but it did well for Dannii at the same time.

That was probably the main factor, she was approached for big shows and her UK record deal had come to an end with commercial success dwindling, she made the switch at the perfect time whilst she was still a ‘household’ name.

This Is Disco podcast just had Dannii, Terry and Ian feature to wrap up the NN 20 celebrations!

Amazing episode! Some great stories about It Wont Work Out , Push , Goodbye Song!!

New live dates until Ethan is a bit older!

This is Disco has amazing content, but geeee wizzz both speakers are sooooo annoying. The girl with her annoying voice she puts on at times with certain words and the guy's irritating laugh and trying to be funny (I just can't).

But their work and research + dedication 100/100
