February 4, 20196 yr They’ve now added an extra Leeds event after the first 2 sold out - ticket and CD bundle gets you access to 400 capacity venue for an intimate show so that’s 1,200 sales across the 3 events, getting extra sales in those kind of numbers will help massively (Although week 2 slump could be epic :kink: ).
February 4, 20196 yr Waa he seriously expecting a number one album? :blink: I think they know they’ve produced a ‘real’ Busted album and also seem very aware of the current climate and how to manipulate sales through special editions, events etc., so I think they all feel they have a good chance, they’ve basically said a #1 album leads to bigger show/festival bookings so that’s why they are chasing it. Pretty decent they are even in the running tbh after the comeback album missed the Top 10.

Wouldn't take many copies to be #1 in these early sales flashes, I'm surprised they don't have a bigger lead tbh.

February 8, 20196 yr Yep The One Show would have given them a huge boost - hopefully will help them from not freefalling too much in week 2, HMV also tweeting today stores now have the album.
February 8, 20196 yr Debuted at #2 on 17,136 in the end, The Specials at #1 with 18,199. So it was close but not so close it was unbearable. Still a good result though, and a fantastic album to boot.
February 9, 20196 yr Pleased that the album doesn’t seem to be in total free fall this week - still Top 10 on Amazon and iTunes plus HMV are now stocking it.
