Kylie gives it a glammy makeover, with a stomping piano beat and seductive Goldfrapp-esque vocals. It's sexy, commanding and unexpected; to me, it makes for a killer return and proved Kylie had so much more to give.

This is a nice way to look at it. I think, at the time, I probably had similar viewpoint on it. I'd forgotten that.

I do like it when Kylie delivers something unexpected. And it was such a relief to have her back.

I guess '2 Hearts' just struggles to be as memorable as some of her other work.

2 Hearts did show a different side of Kylie, i have to say that is a very valid point.

2 Hearts was in the middle of her IP work and her pop work.

A bit late to the party but I really like 'Kids'! I guess I have a lot of childhood nostalgia attributed to it though because it was my go-to duet song on Singstar with my brother  it is really fun though! '2 Hearts' also feels a bit too low.

The 'Body Language' songs to slay!

I like 'Kids' too (especially on the karaoke)! This is in spite of my general disdain for Robbie's inflated ego.

Somehow, Kylie brings out the good in him. It feels like a bit of a send-up. It's so much fun!

Kylie and Robbie were meant to be doing another duet which was rumoured last year. The idea must have been dropped.

'Word is Out', the lead to Let's Get to It, saw Kylie depart from her acclaimed dance-pop style and explore new jack swing. The change may have followed criticisms that Stock and Waterman's were stuck in a groove and their music was too samey. Despite this, it would seem the public weren't ready for Kylie's music to take such changes either as the song broke her run of 13 consecutive UK Top 10 hits in the UK. I think that was a little undeserved and I admit that even I have underrated the song - listening to it in the run up of the rate, it's a funky song that doesn't need big production to be catchy.

As executive producer, Stuart Price oversaw the production for Aphrodite and his influence seems particularly notable in 'Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)'. The slow build up into an explosive chorus and the reining-it-in middle 8 before erupting into a sparkling instrumental is classic Price composition (see Madonna's Confessions for further examples). This is one of the most club-ready songs on the album and everything suits Kylie to a tee: those commands to "put your hands up" could be more cliche if in less capable hands.

'Right Here, Right Now' served as the second single from Giorgio Moroder's first album in 23 years. Giorgio updates his sound to suit the modern disco-pop scene, with this song sitting pretty next to Daft Punk and other advocates for the mini-disco revival, and Kylie demonstrates some impressive stratospheric vocals.

In 'Did It Again', Kylie battles with her identity (metaphorically and literally!). Inspired by the negative stories pressed by the media about her, Kylie confronts the way she tended to react to them and evaluates who it is she wants to be. Her angst is displayed by her slightly hostile vocals and a chaotic instrumental before the final verse, but the cool guitar riff and jangly beats also makes this a fun, accessible track. The video is a highlight from her catalogue, poking a bit of fun at herself as the main four labels she's been defined as in her career - Sex Kylie, Cute Kylie, Dance Kylie and Indie Kylie - all fight for victory.

Recorded during the Kiss Me Once sessions, 'Crystallize' was released as a stand-alone single to raise money for One Note Against Cancer. Babydaddy from Scissor Sisters had a hand in the writing and production and his input is definitely recognisable - the twinkly disco melody and the high octave chorus sharing similarities with 'I Believe in You' and the upbeat version of 'White Diamond'. It was a return to the classic Kylie sound following the hit and miss Kiss Me Once and was a gratefully received gift for fans.

I remember where I was the first time I saw the 'Did It Again' video. It had a definite effect on me.

Imo, the song wouldn't be quite as good without the video. It's so hard to think of one without the other. But it should still be higher.

'Word Is Out' - Not one of my faves and would probably rank it as one my least fave lead singles from her. I can see why this underperformed at the time, especially coming off the fantastic 'ROL' era, this just seemed like a major comedown. Actually surprised this ended up being the 2nd highest ranking 'LGTI' single on here though, it's an okay enough I suppose, kinda bland and honestly found the follow up singles far better and far stronger. After listening to this album again, I still find this a strange choice for a lead single, why wasn't 'Right Here Right Now' or maybe 'Too Much Of A Good Thing' even considered, both are far stronger and may have performed better and kept her winning streak of top 10 hits a little bit longer.

'Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)' - I liked this on the album and the Pete Hammond remix really makes it a true bop. After the flop of 'BTB', I don't think any other choice would have fared better, especially given the lacklustre promo this had and no music, which pretty much sealed it's fate. Hell it was lucky to even make a dent on the UK top 100. Maybe if this was released 3rd instead, then things might have been different.

'Right Here, Right Now' - If this was a bigger hit, then it would have definitely finished much higher on here. There's nothing bad I could say about this, it's a really good tune and Kylie does display some impressive vocals acrobatics on this. If this came out during her heyday (say early 00's) then this would have smashed.

'Did It Again' - Thought this would have been higher, in fact this should be top 40 at least. Definitely one of her most underrated songs (I know Kylie fans love this, but everybody else has forgotten it) and considering it's not one of her bigger hits doesn't help either. This was a smart choice from the 'IP' album after the lead single tanked and thankfully this did at least put her back into the top 20. It's funny that this is only one of 3 times in her career where a follow up performs better than the lead single.

'Crystalize' - Another forgotten Kylie gem that came out during the very awkward 'KMO' era, which pretty much proved that Kylie weren't guaranteed hits anymore and the bland material and bad single choices certainly didn't help, I mean how in the hell was this left off the album in first place, it's better than about 90% percent of the damn thing.
Think that 'Finer Feelings' could be in the next lot to drop out along with 'Please Stay', 'What Kind Of Fool' & maybe 'The Other Boys', those are my predictions.

So true. It's almost timeless Kylie. I think it would've been a smash in any era from 'Light Years' to 'Aphrodite'.

It's a shame it had very little impact in 2015. Maybe if it'd been released as Kylie feat. Giorgio, it might've generated more interest? Who knows.

I love crystalize and it was by far the best song that came in that whole kiss me once time and deserved to have been a much bigger hit for Kylie.

The disco-tinge sound is just fabulous.

Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) is so underrated.

I do agree with this to a point, that said i feel the same about Better Than Today as both are superior to Get Outta My Way.

I would in large feel the same. I feel the same about Get Outta My Way as i do about 2 Hearts. Great album tracks but not great single choices.
