Body language was disappointing chart wise as I was sure the follow up to the hugely successful fever would get kylie another number 1 so not even going top 3 was disappointing but it had good opening sales. Fever had such a good chart run and had top 40 positions for a long time and the singles had good runs too. X held on well despite its 3rd week drop and it was x era that the charts also started to change so the singles had different chart runs, wow had a great chart run.

Body Language and X were 2 era's that i felt Kylie would have added more Number 1 albums to her credentials.

Body Language followed up her most successful era and X was a time when the nation was rooting for Kylie after her cancer battle.

Golden had a totally unexpected chart run.

I didnt expect the chart run of 1>18>39 to happen like so many in the chart forum predicted.

That said, i thought it may be more on the lines of 10-12 week chart run in total.

The longevity of Golden's chart run was great and it stayed in the chart far beyond my expectations.

As for the final 2, 'BTDYK' & 'LAFS', both pretty amazing and maybe predict the former for the win, but gotta a feeling that we may have a TIE.

I can confirm that there was indeed a tie! :o There can only be one winner so it's down to which received the most top scores!

02. Love at First Sight // 9.48 (8: Regina, Qween, Michael Andrew, // 11: Theo; 10: Sam Judd, Feel the Fever, blacksquare, Josh!, davidas, Nick Jonas, Tawdry Hepburn, pippa, Jay, Davidson, Hide&Seek, Jade)

Yup, missing out on the top spot by just one score is 'Love at First Sight'. The third single to be lifted from Fever, 'Love at First Sight' became one of the defining hits of summer 2002. It's stuttered disco beats evoke the sounds of Modjo and Stardust and explode into a glorious, infectious chorus that simply celebrates the ecstatic high of a new relationship. Kylie holds the song dear to her heart, recalling it as the first big song where she had been properly involved since its inception and hailing it as one of her favourites to perform live. It's rightfully become one of Kylie's signature hits, achieving one of her best first week sales in the UK and completing 2002 as radio's #1 song, just as she had managed the year prior. The music she were playing really did blow our minds.

01. Better the Devil You Know // 9.48 (5.5: Nick F1; 8: blacksquare, Jade // 11: Sam Judd, Josh!; 10: Feel the Fever, Red Blooded Man, Monzo, gooddelta, Stuart25, Nick Jonas, Tawdry Hepburn, pippa, Michael Andrew, liamk97, Hide&Seek, Theo)

Gone was the bubblegum pop, in was a stylish dance sound. Gone was the girl-next-door image, in was the mature sex appeal. Gone was Jason Donovan, in was Michael Hutchence. Taking the crown is 'Better the Devil You Know' - a song that kick-started a new era for Kylie as she took strides to take more control over her image and sound. The jittery intro is instantly recognisable and if it doesn't get you racing to the dancefloor, the shimmering dance grooves, joyful piano and emotional intensity of Kylie's vocal certainly will. Critics and fans alike tend to place this as Kylie's very best so it's no surprise to see it top Buzzjack's countdown. It set the mould for Kylie party bangers and remains as uplifting and unifying nearly 30 years on.

Excellent top 2 as I love both songs. Love at first sight should have been the follow up to cant get you out of my head instead of in your eyes which should have been the 3rd single.

I disagree. 'Love at First Sight' was perfect for summer and I don't think it would necessarily have performed better if release earlier. It was just very unfortunate to be up against 'A Little Less Conversation' (would have been #1 if moved a week earlier).

Would have been more than happy with either song being #1 on this countdown. Both really capture the essence of what the Kylie we know and love is all about. 'Devil' is high energy fun throughout and 'Love at First Sight' is so cool and uplifting.

I actually went through as stage of not rating 'Love at First Sight' as highly - not that I didn't like it, I just didn't rate it as one of my very favourites. I don't know why that was but I've certainly come to realise what utter perfection it is. That chorus could quite possibly be the most joyous of all Kylie singles. Instantly feel good. Even my friend who tends to listen to less mainstream music absolutely loves it and brings it to my attention whenever I mention Kylie! Very strong memories of the video as a kid - I adore her whole look with the earrings and bangle with her initials, the blue eyeshadow and white vest; I love how futuristic the video looked with the Excel-style grids that appear, even though the set was probably incredibly basic; and the sort of bopping she does to the camera in time with the beat of the chorus... I just love it!

Thank you very much for this amazing countdown! We could guess for months which song might be the one and I'm really glad with this choice!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the rate and contributed during the results. Apologies for the delay! I guess I started off alright, I just like to have really thought out commentaries and it takes me a bit of time.

Anything that should be higher or lower?

Aw 'Love At First Sight' would've been my preferred choice for sure but I did give 'Better The Devil You Know' an 8 (one of the lowest scores :o wow!) so still a perfectly fine winner. Thank you for this Liam! Those full results have reminded me how disgusted I am by 'Slow' not even making top 20 -_-
Very happy with the Top 2 - 'Better The Devil You Know' & 'Love At First Sight' - both sum up what Kylie's all about and the brilliance she brings to music in general. Both are not only Kylie classics, but dare I say it CLASSIC pop tunes in general.

Of course I'm not happy with all the results, for starters 'Confide In Me' deserves top 5 & swap 'Slow' with 'Red Blooded Woman'.
70. I Was Gonna Cancel // 3.93

71. Lhuna (with Coldplay) // 3.07

Lhuna is a great choice for last place!

Last night I listened to Kiss Me Once again and IWGC isn't as bad as I remembered.
