June 15, 20187 yr Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne's chart histories look more and more crazy as time goes by - Clean Bandit now making the top 5 with their last 9 top 40 hits and Jess Glynne still making at least #6 with all 10 of her top 40 hits (70% of them hitting #1, and it would have been 80% if Band Aid 30 didn't happen, IIRC 'Real Love' had pretty huge sales debuting at #2)! Even after how massive 'Rather Be' was, neither of them exactly seemed like obvious candidates to maintain this level of success for so long :o
June 15, 20187 yr Jess scores a third solo #1 as lead artist; and 4 others as a featured artist - one decent solo #1 (Hold My Hand) - the other two are utter drivel, hardly an achivement anymore. All I see is a London girl with lank hair and a super-thin voice who is overhyped, and beyond forgettable - am I missing something here? Where are our exciting pop stars? This really is the era of the bland; where chart achievements count for very little in a climate where streaming skewers the charts completely.
June 15, 20187 yr ^How is it "hardly" an achievement? It's much harder to have such a long streak of hits in today's chart climate. Even with so many being features it's still impressive. 06 | 07 | 7th week Post Malone Better Now beerbongs & bentleys | 2018 3rd Single Released: 27th April 2018 (album release) Label: Republic Records Chart Statistics NE (08/03/2018) | 9-10-11-10-9-7-6I'm guessing 8/3 is the entry date for Psycho, not Better Now?
June 15, 20187 yr Jess won Buzzjack haters lost! Bisexuality at the top prevailed! Echo in here
June 15, 20187 yr This really is the era of the bland; where chart achievements count for very little in a climate where streaming skewers the charts completely. Yes because getting to number one in the mid-2000s with 15k sales or so counted for so much  I think getting to number one in this climate is actually a huge achievement, especially for a female singer. This is really impressive for Jess.
June 15, 20187 yr Great for Jess Glynne ideal CB/DL will go number 1 next week also let’s not forget this is officially demi lovato s highest peaking single
June 16, 20187 yr all you f**king w**kers who didn’t want Jess Glynne to get #1 can suck my d !!! or something like that :kink:

Well please remind me of all these exciting pop stars, I certainly can't recall them.
June 16, 20187 yr Well please remind me of all these exciting pop stars, I certainly can't recall them. They're all still around for the most part but are all just having floppy eras lately :P
June 16, 20187 yr Re the OFFICIAL Chart emphasis: It’s quite hard to make people aware that this is the actual chart rather than all the hundreds of others when the chart with the most listeners is the fakest and calls themselves The OFFICIAL Big Top 40 and repeats it every 10 seconds and I’ve just seen they even have their own trophy now as well to confuse people more!!
