Top 75 is certain but I'm not sure about top 60.

It’s back in the HMV in-store chart at #23 and part of the 2 for £15 deal still so it’s certainly visible to customers that visit.

You’re getting a bit carried away with yourself. The mild promo was at the start of the week, it said bound to start dropping now. It’s not being streamed and possibly won’t make the top 60 now. The red button won’t do shit!

The main sales benefit would have come early in the week and it was always going to trail off during the week which is why I thought a top 75 re entry was more realistic. I never really expected a top 40 return plus kylie only performed 3 songs from golden.

 

For me I hope the re release is done well and promoted as if its done right it could help the album just about outsell kylie Christmas.does anyone think kylie Christmas could do much this year with her back in the limelight,at the very best I'm not expecting anything more than a low top 100 re entry.

I think it will do something - it all depends on Parlophone, they might be keen to push it into supermarkets etc., at a low price to cash in on the success of Golden, if they give it some visability it could get some decent sales.

 

I do also think that Kylie could potentially perform a song from the album during her Xmas promo which would help. I really hope that Santa Baby gets on all the key playlists this year too to get those casual listens/sales going.

If kylie does promo during Christmas I'd be surprised if she doesn't use the promo to plug golden although she could do mash up of an x mas song and a song from golden.

I would be disappointed if Kylie wasted any promotion slots in the coming months that would not promote Golden.

Golden as an album is more important to promote and i also believe Kylie would enjoy promoting it more too.

^^ I think Kylie has proved she doesn’t always use promo slots as wisely as possible recently.

 

I think if she gets on any ‘Christmas Specials’ she could easily perform a Christmas track over one from ‘Golden’ tbh.

Unfortunately that is true and that has been highlighted with recent singles Golden and A Lifetime To Repair.

Any info on today’s position? Hopefully it’s stayed Top 60 :P

Fingers crossed Golden sells enough today for top 75 tomorrow

The album should manage at least 1,300 for this week, which helps bring total sales nearer to 110,000.

Will be interesting to see whether the tour will help it remain Top 100. Would be nice if it can remain 1k+ for a while.

It would be wonderful if the tour could help it maintain a chart position for at least a week or 2.

If the current edition can manage 115,000 it would result in the new edition roughly needing 35,000 sales to outsell Kylie Christmas and also double the sales of Kiss Me Once.

Great to see it over 1k after the sales in the last few weeks. I think the tour will have people seeking it out as casual fans that are going along will want to know the new songs (For example one of my friends who is coming to opening night just downloaded the album :cheer: )

The show realistically only boosted sales by 500 on the last few weeks which isnt the best result.

A bigger boost would have been great but least it git a boost as did a few of the songs performed.

I think to be honest if you told me she would still be selling 1000 copies a week in mid September then thats a good result.
