A shame to see it fall that much! Hopefully it won't fall out of the Top 200 before A Lifetime to Repair goes to radio.

Ya that's what I'm hoping to,I still didn't expect a 45 place drop this week though, but considering she only sold about 200 less than ladt week it has made a huge difference last week.
I think it will bounce up and down the charts in this region now - the fact that 10 copies can make a difference makes me think it’ll stay in this region of the charts until promo starts again.
Hopefully it will and won't drop like this week. If she can keep selling near the thousand until promo kicks in it would be great.Between promo and the re release it might have a chance of catching up on Kylie Christmas although with Kylie back in the limelight Kylie Christmas will prob pick up some sales in November/ December time too.

Kylie Christmas could do reasonably ok in the lower end of the charts this year.

Ideally, Golden will eventually overtake Kylie Christmas sales as it is a much better album.

Hard to call how well though especially as the re release last year didn't do nearly aswell as I thought it would although it helped get the album a new peak here in Ireland.
I think Kylie Christmas will do reasonably well this year - easy cash in on Kylie’s renewed success for Parlophone to get this out to the supermarkets etc., for £4.99 and with Santa Baby seemingly becoming a Christmas staple they would be mad not to try and push the album.

If they sell it at a low price it should def do ok so hopefully they do.

It would be nice to see Kylie have 2 albums on the chart in the last quarter.

Not sure the new single will make much difference unless they promote it more!

To be fair ‘Golden’ got the album back into the Top 40 after R2 playlisted it. Hopefully BMG will see the need to put a little more effort into the new single now that the album is out of the Top 100.

Golden #84 in today’s mids (Was #89 last Monday) - could possibly make a low Top 100 return this week.

Glad to see it back in the Top 100, even if it does fall out again. I was worried it would have dropped further.

Lifetime to repair is an awful choice of 4th single... its very similar to the sound of Dancing.

What happened to the 18 month campaign BMG promised?

When will they understand that they need to release the single on physical formats to make any impact on charts?

Or else whats the point in releasing singles?

Keep the album selling and on this occasion to promote the tour and get last minute ticket sales.

Looking at some of the other acts BMG work with (Rick Astley, James etc.,) they seem to follow the same route - go big with the first single with physicals, remixes etc., then just have the follow ups as ‘radio singles’ to support the album.

I’ve said it many times but if Kylie really wanted physicals for the singles then it would happen, both her and BMG are clearly not interested in doing so and as has been shown in the past physicals do not guarantee a big or Top 40 hit for Kylie (We had multiple formats for IWGC which missed the Top 50).

Okay a big drop in the mids today, it's now #124 with just under 500 copies sold.

Disappointing drop :nocheer: Still looks on course for a 900 selling week though I guess?

Big change of position between the updates which clearly shows the difference just a few sales can make in those regions of the chart.
