I'm starting to think they are really going to go for it with the re release.

Me too - trying not to get overly excited but I’m praying they know this album can shift some serious units to fans alone if they get it right (We’ve already proved we will buy everything with the CD, Deluxe CD, Vinyl, Clear Vinyl, Picture Disc, Deluxe Vinyl, Cassettes  ).

The fact that they have already booked in promo for MTSWY makes me think they will give the album a hard push as ultimately that’s their only aim.

I think the same, fir them to invest in a fifth single and have promo in place plus the cassette re release to me indicates they have a plan in place.

I'm a little concerned that there won't be a full blown re-release actually, hmm.

Even though the upcoming new cassette has new packaging/artwork, it's still just the original 12 tracks included - so maybe it's just intended as a special novelty. Although not unheard of, it's not typical to release new CDs/Vinyl formats off the back of single that was already available on the original version of the album.

Anyway, we'll see. I hope there is a re-release!

It could easily be just a tour dvd added and that will be the new edition.

That said, i have hope they will give us a proper edition and include some new songs.

If some new songs are added and a variety of versions available, CD, cassette, vinyl the album really could sell in Q4.

Mid week update from the reliable Stewie on sayhey:

48 (40) GOLDEN

Sales: 802

Yesterday: 221

Sales WoW: -13%

Slightly higher than I was expecting in the first update - should be safe for Top 60 this week :cheer:

1600 sales this week is a good target, Manchester tonight and Liverpool Wednesday should have a good effect on top of the successful dates so far.

Everyone you have to remember.

BMG are the distribution. They need to sell the album to make the money so of course they will put big effort in, especially in Q4

They are also the distributor of the singles too  We’ll see what happens but the signs certainly look super positive for Q4.

Q4 is always a market worth chasing and putting in the extra effort for.

The album is well received, as is the tour and on the back of it they now have a great opportunity to get some great sales over the coming 3 months.

Still holding up well on iTunes (#15 and #10 artist album) - still think it will be safe for Top 55 on Friday.
Good to see Golden back top 10 in Irish itunes.

Great that it’s back in the Top 10 :cheer: Didn’t Golden really underperform in Ireland and only spent a few weeks in the charts?
