Never be the same only peaked in the US a month ago, thats why this wasn't pushed earlier, NBTS peaked in the US six months later relative to the US

Coincidence as I playlisted "Real Friends" this week! I'm over "She Loves Control" now - but it's a shame as it does deserve single status. It's a confusing decision really.
makes no sense to skip She Loves Control when it's as good as Havana and much better than Never be the same again

I actually do think Real Friends is a smart choice in a Justin Bieber Love Yourself kind of way. BUT.

She Loves Control should have been the big spring single instead of Sangria Wine. What a waste of time.

She Loves Control should've been released ahead of Never be the Same. Would've been her 2nd number 1 single and helped the album album a lot more

The original source (the one who mentioned about the remix) is an insider, so this is true. Even the artwork was posted.

I quite like this version! They've made it more rhythmic and interesting to the album version. I actually think this is a pretty good choice - though it's so obvious "She Loves Control" should've had a push. But let's not forget it's 7 MONTHS since "Never Be The Same" was released - and a YEAR since "Havana"
She loves control also sounds more like a summer single, this is nice but sounds more like a fall/winter single, bit boring but nice
Okay then. Maybe they're doing this tactic where the second obvious single is the next and then the most obvious for the final single, as they did with Glory Days.

I know she’s had Sangria Wine but it does feel like she’s since NBTS!

I can’t at the choice over She Loves Control - that would definitely go down well with fans.

I like this but not really any more than I liked the original, I suppose I could get back into it since it is a great song (and made it to #4 on my personal chart as an album track). I like the production but I feel like Swae Lee doesn’t really add much to it
I wish it was the new production but solo, really nice song that grows on you made a bit beefier and more substantial, but Swae Lee adds nothing at all.

except an annoying voice!
