Welcome to Club Bizarre! We hope you enjoyed your time away but it is now time to return for the fourth edition! I happen to be your host because I won the last contest with the beautiful and epic Worakls – Elea and you must not underestimate my enjoyment of quite a fair amount of dance music! :P

If you were to look through the Club Bizarre archives, you would find that we’ve had Trance, we’ve had Eurodance and we’ve had House. In this edition, I ask anyone who’s interested (hopefully that means YOU x) to find an entry that fits under drum and bass, also known as drum & bass, drum n bass or DnB, among others ;) I and the hard-working dance mods Dan and lewistgreen (shout-out also to Dobbo, who has since left the position but was fine with the theme) felt that this theme is wide-ranging enough to house (throwback to the previous edition there, heh) its own contest and there is room for variety.


RULES & GUIDELINES:
- Your song must fit into the genre of drum n bass, or a significantly related subgenre*
- We are ideally looking for discoveries! Your song should not be generally well-known to Buzzjack, so please don’t send a big chart hit or anything that has been sent to a previous song contest on the forum.
Useful links: BJSC entries / Unknown Pleasures entries (I doubt you’ll need links for any of the other contests since they don’t really cater for drum n bass)
- This is an anonymous contest so no revealing of what you’ve sent! I will do that in the results show.
- It’s first come first served so if several people confirm the same artist, the one whose confirmation was made earlier gets in with that artist.

*You may be unsure what this means. To make it slightly less restrictive, it would probably be okay to enter jungle or drill n bass or other styles which are similar enough to drum n bass. If you’re not sure whether your potential entry fits, the best thing would be to confirm it and if it is deemed unsuitable, we will just ask you to replace. Just don’t veer too far away from drum n bass :P

I encourage anyone to enter, even if you’ve never entered this before. To do so, kindly fill in this Google Form. This is a new way of doing things for this particular contest but it should speed things up a bit. You will need a Google account.

Yeah tbh I was kinda worried about that (well 'worried' is maybe too strong) and I guess I could've asked for this contest to start later than usual but then again, Club Bizarre needs its business ;)
