All Saints will likely miss the Top 20 as its current placing will be front-loaded.

Truly did not expect Steps to be so high,a top 100 placing at any number would be a wonderful result for this singles boxset.

Worried, Kylie may drop from the Top 100 as she usually ends her week 10-15 places places lower than the position in the Monday midweek chart.

there's 4 Mamma Mia songs in the top 100, hope the OCC fix this for consistency's sake considering only 3 TGS songs are allowed in at a time.

97 Dancing Queen

Why am I not surprised that the OCC is once again being stupidly inconsistent

Steps are really milking that album

I see it more as giving the fans what they want with this release as its the cd single essentially which were not released prior.

Dappy remaining Top 30, and it is likely he wont chart chart much lower at the end of the week.

I would greatly welcome Little Mix holding onto their Top 10 position.

Top six entirely the same as last week! One new entry! This is going to be an exciting chart week!!

Could one of those be from the Mamma Mia album

I hope Rudilazer can get into the top 40. I just hope people move on sooner from two thousand and pooh and “These Days”
Not a bad start for All Saints! They've got some more promo lined up this week including This Morning and The One Show (so I'm told) so that should keep it top 20 at least!

It should either way out perform Studio 1.

Promotion will help keep it in the Top 20 but it may possibly drop hard next week.

Nope, they're all from the sequel's soundtrack.

Dancing Queen is on both films' soundtrack albums, by different (but overlapping) groups of people. Is it definitely the sequel version that's charting?

Or would the presence of Julie Walters and Christine Baranski on both versions be enough for the OCC to lump them together now?

The version from the first Mamma Mia! is by Meryl Streep & Julie Walters & Christine Baranski.

The sequel version is by Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgard, Amanda Seyfried, Christine Baranski, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan.

A top six of non-movers and one new entry the week after Spotify loses $394 million dollars in a quarter? Is streaming fast becoming the Brexit of the charts?

The chart update on the OCC website credits Firth, Skarsgard and Seyfried, so I assume it's from the sequel.

yes 100% sure from the sequel

pretty sure they'll kick it out before Friday and leave just 3

I think its pretty silly how they credit it all, if the album is allowed in the album charts, then the singles should be credited as "Mamma Mia 2 Cast" not as Street, Baranski here and Colin Firth there, makes no sense

It's a fair point though - perhaps this version is being considered as just 'another version' of the version from the first film, like a remix.
I streamed it at the weekend...the remixes have been turned into a mini album on Spotify :cheer:

That digital bundle in theory doesn't count as the same product though so its sales and streams can't be combined (not that the figures would be very high anyway!)

4.3 Alternative Album Formats featuring less than 100% of material on Standard Album

Alternative formats not featuring 100% of the audio tracks from the standard version of the album may be

combined providing it meets 80% crossover with standard album format. (See Appendix 1 Figure 1).
