I never really expected All Saints to do too much with this album.

It is likely its sales for the week will be close to 3,000 and will struggle to sell 10,000 as total sales.

Well that is shocking sales

Very verydisappointing position x all saints :/

It's a shame but I think they were riding on comeback hype last time, which boosted their sales a bit a la Rick Astley doing so much worse than last time out a couple of weeks ago.

Take That aside, I can't think of an act that's come back to success and continued that exact level of momentum through to another era. Steps I guess but it's hard to compare as they didn't put an album out in 2012 and that reunion felt so half-arsed compared to the 2017 one.

Steps had much more hype and exposure and still managed to sell out tours which helped keep interest in the comeback with Tears on the Dancefloor which exceeded most peoples expectations.

The All Saints comeback has to date been very flat.

As comebacks go, i cant ever see anyone ever managing the success of Take That.

Take That and their comeback turned out more successful than their original era.

Theres plenty of old acts having top 10s all the time

Not sure how come All saints cannot

I remember last year A-ha went to @6 with a live album

Just checked and sold 7k on week 1

All saints cannot match that?

Wasnt expecting them to do a Take that

But at least beat a live Aha album ;)

Really surprised how low sales are for Mamma Mia 2 after how well the first album did. I know sales have nosedived etc. but after how well the Greatest Showman did during some weeks earlier this year and the shear coins MM2 is giving over to Benny and Bjorn already, it's odd.

All Saints is less surprising. There's something lacking in their approach. Or maybe there is no approach which is the issue...

This must be one of the least interesting chart weeks since I started following the charts. Really nothing I care about at all happening in either chart.

100% agree. Nothing is really changing at all.

So spare a thought for me when I try to find something to say on Friday

Good luck!

The material is good so it is a shame to see those first week sales. No idea how much support they have had on radio, probably not much.

Wheres Lucid Dreams today please?

Im shocked its not yet top 10. :drama:

The continued climb for that on Spotify and iTunes should hopefully get it there eventually...

I have to admit, All Saints have pretty much passed me by this time and I actually like them. I can only assume it's the same for a lot of people.

This! They don’t have the backing of a major this time like they did with the ‘comeback’ album Red Flag, there seemed to be little build up and hype and they haven’t done a great job in rinsing their fans into buying multiple copies by releasing lots of different formats/bundles etc.,

I don't think Steps read this...
