To celebrate Madonna's 60th birthday, I'll be presenting a series of threads to celebrate all that we love about the iconic, influential, game-changing, life-changing icon. They will feature anything and everything to do with the idol.

These will go alongside a series of polls by Liam.

First up, simply post your Favourite Album. Feel free to share more about why it's your favourite album, or drop a cheeky 2nd and 3rd place in too. Debate, discuss, share the love and CELEBRATE.

This has to be 'Confessions on a Dancefloor' for me. It's not only my fave from her, but it's my all time #1 album! Expertly organised, stylised, localised and sonically just the right blend of retro and modern. THE BEST.
I am always changing on this front because there's so many. It's probably Ray of Light at the moment as I've been listening to it a lot in the run up to the big 6-0. True Blue my second fav but Celebration also wall-to-wall Madge bangerz.

I would have to say true blue . I was only 2 years old when released and am told I took to instantly (it was my mums vinyl) .

I then learned how to put the vinyl on myself at a very young age. This album cemented Madonna has a megastar , it is her biggest stellar in the UK and the album was heavily used on the WTG tour (which vhs I played to death).

The album artwork is my favourite , one of her most iconic pictures . The album is also very diverse and more grown up than her first two . Every video is amazing and her single positions from the album were her best ever . As a kid I def loved Jimmy Jimmy and Love Makes The World Go Round a lot more than I do now . For me I still do not count these as filler , I adore them because of incredible memories .

Album Rank

1. Live To Tell

2. Papa Don’t Preach

I have always felt like her albums before Ray of Light had obvious high points but were either too samey or lacked experimentation. They're more products of their time.

1998-2005 though, queen.

That’s my ranking ^.

Was hard to rank them all but the top 3 are definitely a little ahead of the rest and the bottom three I rarely return too but they’re all good in their own way. Ray Of Light is just amazing though. An unbeaten masterpiece and an album like no other.
