Tori has teased a clip of her new song 'Never Alone' all over her social media.

Looking forward to her new stuff. Wonder if she can get a hit? 'Should've Been Us' shoulda been that smash though tbh.

I feel like this is her My My My! / Problem sorta moment. It could propel her to new heights because I think she'll have the support after the ripples the last era made. If the song is good I think it'll be an easy smash, much like Problem was for Ari. Or it could just fizzle out very easily and not really take off like My My My! did for Troye in the end.

Either way I'm very excited to hear it, been way too long since her album!!

Very excited to hear new Tori music! Intrigued to see what sort of direction she'll go in too - if it'll be very similar to Unbreakable Smile or a completely different vibe (wouldn't be adverse to either).

Meh.

I'm so disappointed. Like, I guess it's nice enough but... Wow. So much wasted potential arghhh :(

After listening to this and looking at the song titles on the album (out 14th September), I think she's now predominantly a Christian/gospel artist instead of a pop artist :(
It does sound like something that was left off Unbreakable Smile, however pleasant enough a track it is. :(

It's nice but it's definitely very CCM, it's like a nice enough album track for say Britt Nicole, to think earlier in the thread there was hope for her to break out with a brilliant pop song yet we have this :')

Something like You Say by Lauren Daigle would've been fab if she was going CCM, this is just nothing more than nice and it's disappointing given what she could have had from her.

This won Best Gospel Performance/Song at the Grammys and the album won Best Gospel Album! So pleased for her although I doubt the recognition will help the chances of her going back to pop :kink:
