Not too keen, really can't get over the Side To Side similarities.

Very underwhelmed on first listen, I admire them for switching their sound up but to me it doesn't feel like a Little Mix single.

Jade (I think it’s her) sounds FAB on the pre chorusy bits. All very Side to side which is fine as I love it, but my only critique is you can really see the Jess influence in the songwriting!

 

The only thing I'd recognise Jess' songwriting for is the usual cliches about how "you're everything to me"/"you made me who I am"/"I'd be nothing in life without you inspiring me" etc.

Very disappointing... I really hoped they were going to switch it up and just go for it with this campaign. It's been done before and done better.

To me the verses sound more Beyoncé than Jess! Reminds me of Flawless!

‘Kissing my mouth’ seems to crop up in every Ed Sheeran penned track. Nauseating.

One of the things I love about Little Mix is their ability to adapt to certain songs and make it feel like they were specifically written for them.

 

I genuinely forget this is an Ed/Glynne/Mac written song when listening to it, due to LM putting their sass, attitude and fierce spin on it.

 

So can people stop reminding me please? Thanks :D :kink:

 

P.s. I think this is the biggest grower of all their songs. It's gettingnbetter with each listen for me. :wub:

The 'Salute' era being the exception.. buttt had they chosen more wisely and gone for something other than 'Little Me', like 'Salute' as #2 then it'd have kept up tradition! :lol:

A lot of people picking up on the 'Side To Side' similarity, I mean it's not as if SOTME was a reductive version of 'Ugly Heart' or anything.

Oh god, that's the first thing I noticed when I heard the official version last night :lol: It's not quite as good as I remember it being when I saw them perform it live but the pre-chorus is still pretty epic!

 

Glad it's already got the sales #1 on lock for this week, hopefully it manages a decent Spotify debut tomorrow to be in with a shot of official #1.

It's 28 on Apple Music already which indicates a strong spotify debut for tomorrow, but that Drake song is much higher and will debut higher on Spotify.
