Looking forward to the official midweek confirmation...I just bought the deluxe cd and gold cassette bundle from her store (paid £30 for the Mint Green Vinyl in HMV on Friday, oops) as well as the Golden deluxe CD. Fingers crossed she has SBIT number one on Friday with Golden and perhaps the 1992 Greatest Hits in the top 100/200.

^^ Can’t believe HMV have been selling the green vinyl for £30  Although happy to have them still around and guess they want to profit from Kylie at Glastonbury.

I was hoping ‘Golden’ would get more of a boost - would love it to return to the charts. I can’t see the original GH managing to chart due to lack of physicals - hopefully we get full album sales updates on Friday though.

I know too much at £30 but though I’d support them. Bought Madame X deluxe only £12.99 and a Tears for Fears vinyl reduced to £12.99.

Being reported Lewis is only 5000 behind so won’t believe any midweek reports until the official update.

I heard she was on 21k and double Lewis sales at number 2.

Lots of figures floating around - we should know officially in just under 2 hours :cheer:

Kylie - 21, 312

Lewis - 8,490

Amazing! (also nearly outselling Madonna’s total first week sales for her new album with a rehashed GH, and the only reason I’m mentioning Madonna is due to all the vile comments and 1 star reviews on Amazon and iTunes from her deranged fans).

Kylie Minogue is racing towards a seventh UK Number 1 with her brand-new album Step Back In Time – The Definitive Collection.

Kylie leads her closest competitor, Lewis Capaldi’s Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent (2), by more than 2:1 on today’s Official Chart Update. The collection was released two days before her performance at Glastonbury in the coveted Sunday ‘legends’ slot.

Kylie last reached the Official Albums Chart top spot in June 2018 with Golden. The star currently has six Number 1 albums to her name, spanning the last four decades. Step Back In Time features all seven of her UK chart-topping singles and a further 23 Top 10 hits.

If SBIT hits #1 she will he 2nd place for most UK number ones by a female and #10 for overall album #1s :cheer:

Chocolate didn't deserve to be snubbed, it's one of her finest moments. Also Giving You Up is really good and deserves to be on track list.
I'm glad that Kylie will be recognised as the sole female act in second place for most number one albums by the OCC, but A Star is Born should really be credited to Barbra Streisand. Fingers crossed a studio album could be coming in the next year or so, capitalising on the momentum of Golden and these summer shows and give her an 8th number one.

‘Giving You Up’ is one of my favourite Kylie songs and was a Top 10 hit in the UK so I’m disappointed it wasn’t included (Especially now it doesn’t have a ‘home’ as Ultimate Kylie is not available to download or stream anymore so people have to search for the single if they want to listen to it so I’m sure it’ll become a forgotten classic  ).

It can also be found on Spotify on the Boombox Compilation. Essentially a Parlophone Best Of 2000-2008.

One of my favourite albums  Would be good for it to have a non remixed version available though on a standard album.
