It is the right decision to add these two tracks as so many fans see them as Kylie classics and are preferred to many of her Top 10 hits.

I was under the impression the summer shows were in support of the GH.

Vinyl Picture Disc and £130 complete bundle both sold out on her official store :w00t:
I wonder will they issue more.

There is a possibility seeing as it’s sold out over a month before release. BMG initially had 1,000 pink vinyl for Emma Bunton and when they sold out on pre-order they made more.

Probably 500 is my guess.

I’d say it’s definately more than 500 - I think the minimum they would produce would be 2,500.

If Kylie released on a week like this week she would easily take the Number 1 position and possibly outsell the Top 5 combined.

Sales are extremely low this week.

To be honest, they release the album a bit too late, they should release it at the beginning of June instead of just putting all the hopes into Glastonbury.
Ya as the multi formats would sell it then the hype leading up to Glastonbury would boost it as would the show itself and it would build more sales I think.

Agreed. would sell well in the lead up and consistently. but lets see.... it may sell moderately all summer......

i would not be surprised to see an EP released before glasto and then one of the songs tagged onto the streaming greatest hits album......

I think the release date is just fine. There will be a week of shows the week before release, Glastonbury on release week and then a week of shows the week after.

I'm sure it'll will sell consistently over summer but they've also put measures in place to give it the maximum first week sales it can. I'm looking forward to seeing the effects!

Kylie will no longer share the second place spot with Barbra for female soloist with the most number one albums (that's if you're not including 1977's A Star is Born which was credited as 'Original Soundtrack').

The album going number 1 really does move Kylie up on the lists of both Acts with most number one albums and Solo acts with most number one albums.

This is what I think too - great planning from BMG to potentially open with a great first week combining fan base sales, multiple copies for the ebayers to buy trying to sell on and the Glastonbury/General Public sales - they could have a huge first week with strong subsequent weeks.

The stage is set as good as they almost can to open with strong sales.

BMG put alot of effort into Golden on subsequent weeks and i think they will here to.
