Bastille meanwhile are fast becoming the new Sash!

Oooh I like the idea of that. They'd do an awesome 'Mysterious Times'!

What do you mean by age? :P

He's not exactly old, only 25 (most DJs are much older)! Or do you mean the age of the songs?

It was a tongue in cheek remark to the recent 'ageist' debate that surfaced across the board.

But yeah, he could also have picked a better time to strike whilst the iron was still hot.

He performed it on Strictly Come Dancing results show last night, so probably a beneficiary of that too.

Why is he still doing promo for it? Move onto Hold My Girl lmao

Happy to see a much needed shake up in the Top 10 + Panic getting even closer though, and hopefully Back & Forth can hold on at #40!

'Hold My Girl' isn't scheduled for promotion to single status until next Friday or the one after I read?

Wow at Freya looking at making the top 10 this week, thought that'd still be a few weeks away from her if ever! Would be great to see Panic! making it in there this week as well. Also yay for Jess coming to keep her top 6 streak *.* ACR really doing its thing this week.

Not surprised at how well Cher's album is doing considering the timing of its release with Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

Wow at Panic!! Really wasn’t expecting it to climb that much. Would love to see this outpeak Nine In The Afternoon.

Cher’s sales are way better than I was expecting. All the Mamma Mia hype has done her wonders. Fingers crossed it can breach 20k to secure a top 2 position.

I expected olly to end the week at that not start it he gonna be lucky to go top 75 so expecting raksu to be dropped by label by january
Great start for Rod, on the One Show tonight - could do 50k perhaps! Makes sense to promote in Q4, others take note!!
Looks like singles could be missing quite a bit of data with those positions?

Rod Stewart beating Cher is a big surprise, and the Top 2 albums look certain to stay that way.

Kodaline look set to miss out on entering the Top 10.

In the Singles, Olly Murs wont be entering the Top 40 this week and i would greatly welcome Rita Ora and Lady Gaga holding on to their existing positions or higher.

Ouch at Sigala! At least ‘Just Got Paid’ is going to provide him with another hit!
Rod Stewart beating Cher is a big surprise.

No, it really isn't.

He has two editions of his album for sale. Plus, he has appeared on so many shows in the last week (Graham Norton, The One Show, The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, etc.) & his last album sold 48k in its first week. His albums always do well in the UK.

Do you think Happier could hold on to it’s #2 position?

Don't think so, I Love It sold a fair amount more yesterday!

Hope Freya stays top ten, absolutely over the moon with how well she’s doing! <3

Who knew the UK top ten could find space for a piano ballad by a relative unknown!

That's surely a GIGANTIC flop for Kodaline's new album?

Have Kodaline had much radio support this era? I wasn't even aware they had new music out tbh (not that I particularly follow them). But yeah them missing the top 10 is pretty bad, would have thought they had enough of a fanbase to get a bit higher than that. Going from having multiple top 40 singles from both of the first two albums to not even cracking the top 100 with anything from this as well...

Yass at Freya being top 10 now
