I think there were like 6 tracks released before the Kodaline album but all pretty bad except Brother

I was the biggest Kodaline fan from day 1 but they totally lost me as as fan, guess many others did :/

That's surely a GIGANTIC flop for Kodaline's new album?

Such a good album too :drama:

I'd love Shallow to get back in the Top 10, maybe it will manage it considering the film is out tomorrow.

Kodaline must have delayed their album since 'Follow Your Fire' is probably six months old at this point. Not that they had much momentum at any point this year but I can't imagine they benefited at all from waiting this long to release it.

Brother was released July 2017, but then Follow Your Fire didn’t come until March this year... the releases since then have all been promo singles I think although I think Head Held High didn’t do terribly in Ireland. The album was delayed 2-3 times I think though since everything flopped this era in comparison to their last two eras. It’s a shame but hopefully it means they’ll release some actual good quality music next time instead of this mess

Kodaline have dropped massively in quality and that's why the album's flopping, it's as simple as that. I gave the new album a listen and, bar 3 or 4 decent songs, most of it sounds very watered down and forgettable compared to the previous two albums. It's a shame as the first album was great!

Definitely more forgettable. All the songs are pleasant enough, but after 15 mins you forget them. Not great for an album.

I imagine #9-#14 are all roughly close in sales, hopefully High Hopes can sneak into the Top 10
The latest Kodaline material is down alot on previous offerings from them, as a result, the album is not doing well and i would expect a massive drop next week.
I haven't really been aware of their new material, but I thought they were a big enough name to easily get a top 10 (if not top 5) album so this kinda shocks me.

Lucid Dreams #40, hope it can stay in the chart for one more week!
its not a good album but feel a bit sorry for Kodaline, other artists release worst shit and they keep getting radio support like nothing happens, guess low top 20 is the best they can get now considering the lack of radio or Spotify support
