She deserves it all

I know it's not a massive pop banger with all the grandiose pop production they usually come with but that's why I love it so much. It feels 100% genuine, no need for big beats and catchy synth lines when all you have is Ariana baring her soul. I love her so much more for this.

This song really doesn’t deserve to be #1! I’m glad she got number one but this is nowhere near her top five singles! Not even her top 10!

 

It absolutely deserves to be #1!! Not every song has to be a pop banger. This is one of her most important songs released and has a lot more significance to her as an artist than all of the Sweetener singles. So it's incredible to see it smashing across the world. A true star!

 

For me, it's fast becoming one of my favourites by her.

100% agreed, I can't even really compare it to the likes of One Last Time and Into You, they're all time faves and of course this isn't going to be up there just yet. But it doesn't have to be, as said it's a total different moment and a transition. I don't think she meant for it to be a #1 hit and outchart her "better" pop songs, but it's connected because it's the exact right time in her career for a song like this. That's much more powerful than a big chorus or banging prodction in terms of making an impact.

This has hit 100 million Spotify streams in just 11 days. The fastest song to do so!!

It seems like she has been teasing Needy a lot, so I wouldn't be suprised if it was the second single.

Fantastic that it has got to #1 although it's not there with 'One Last Time' and 'Into You'.

 

 

This song's success has really taken me by surprise. It's NICE but it's not amazing. Really pleased for her and glad to see her having such amazing success - I'm just surprised it's with this song.

This is already Platinum in the US and Ari has confirmed that there will be a music video!

The music video is possibly going to reference both Mean Girls and Legally Blonde, with Jennifer Coolidge making a cameo. Wig *_*
