I am sure Buble will be doing all kinds of promo so think he will get it. Hard to tell how much interest there is around Mumford & Sons at this point
If Bublés album is covers it'll open way better than his regular album

In the regular version, it's 9 covers and 2 original tracks.

Buble's on the press a lot lately, I'm retiring, it's my last album, sure that will help sales
No doubt Buble will already be in the charts with the Christmas album by the time the new album charts. Just realized this new Fleetwood Mac Best Of also comes out Nov 16th, will be interesting to see how that does as well

It turned out he was taken out of context in an interview and he's not retiring after all. Regardless, that misunderstanding has ended up giving him a lot of attention!

Take That's last album wasn't a Q4 release was it? I reckon they're gonna have big sales considering it's essentially a brand new greatest hits and a band like TT releasing a greatest hits in Q4 is gonna appeal.

I think Little Mix will win this battle, just. Buble is the only threat and Mumford & Sons will be about 10k behind them I think. In fact, due to the reimagined album being released, I think it might put interest back into the Greatest Showman OST in time for xmas and wouldn't be surprised to see M&S at #4 (probably won't happen, but I'd say it was a possibility)

Little Mix depends on the promo around that time, which I'm very confident that they're gonna get.

Def, TGS will be top 3 for Xmas imo and possibly the biggest seller/No1 over the festive period for me!

Sales

Predictions

1) LM 95k

2) Buble 70k

3) M&S 48k

4) TGS 40k

Won't happen but would love The Good, the Bad and the Queen to triumph, previous Album peaked at #2 but realistically best hope for new one is to get a Top 10 placing.
  • 3 weeks later...

I wonder if rumours of Ariana releasing today, means it's set for release in the next few weeks, meaning she could be thrown into this chart battle.

I don't think they've mastered streaming "points" for albums to the chart yet, so unless she releases a physical version, I can't see her outdoing LM or Buble, but def M&S? Maybe?

It very much looks like Ariana will be this Friday. Buble and Mumford’s promo has been so much better than LM’s, so it looks like it’s a possibility LM could be 3 or 4.

Yeah I think it’s safe to say Buble will have this.
I don’t think Ariana is releasing on Friday. She was in the studio again like two days ago with Max Martin and co. Obviously anything could happen but I think it’ll just be Buble v Little Mix v Mumford. I expect Bublé to take it but think LM could outdo Mumford.
