The way the show would be greatly improved if Ste did die but CHRIST let Leela breathe Why was Ste even there chasing after his son’s barely legal boyfriend when his niece had just died that day, horrid horrid character. If he or Dillon dies that is absolutely insane to kill off two bi women and then another queer male, I know Ste won’t but I wouldn’t be surprised at Dillon.

This Later episode was more like it other than the horrific Ste and Dillon rubbish, I loved Frankie’s scenes with Esme and her having a breakthrough. Poor Dodger though, that was so rough to watch but Danny Mac getting something to sink his teeth into is great as he is one of the best actors the show has.

As soon as you could see both in the middle of the road, it was a given.

Overall the Laters wasn’t the best and a difficult watch at times.

The Brookside stuff at 7 was brilliant though

Absolutely it was more a case of which one rather than is someone gonna get run over 🤦‍♂️

I've never watched Hollyoaks before but watched this today for the Brookside characters. I don't suppose we'll ever get an explanation on why Sheila Grant is back living in her old house. She left with Billy Corkhill many years before Brookside finished, to the south of England I think, but it's good to see that she and Billy are still together and that Tinhead and Nicky now seen to be a couple as well.

The problem with Phil Redmond programmes is that Hollyoaks is like a comic book, Brookside is too realistic and Grange Hill offends the snowflakes

The actress for Grace quit because the character couldn’t be redeemed, which still is Hannah Cheers’ fault for doing such an awful storyline in the first place.

It wasn’t bad, I think it was better than the anniversary episodes except the ending and the Ste/Dillon rubbish, Vicky/Frankie etc worked really well in the typical Later party scenes.

Yeah I watched it. It wasn’t the best… and then Dodger got raped, with Donny/ Mick being forced to watch. It made for fairly grim viewing

It’s classic Hollyoaks to go that dark and have hard hitting issues but such a violent scene was tooooo far I think even for Later. Knowing Hannah Cheers it’s not even about awareness or drawing attention to things that happen, it’s for shock factor. Danny Mac will be great through whatever happens with it though
