Light Yrs

For me, these are her definitive top 2 albums. Third would be Impossible Princess.

Light years,rhythm of love and enjoy yourself are my top 3 kylie albums. Light years is well ahead for me overall and it's her only album where I think many album tracks are better than the singles.

Vote is closer than I thought but great to see light years in the lead.

Already talked about 'LY' which got my vote, but wanna talk about 'Fever, which of course was an important turning point in Kylie's career and really put her back on the map firmly and was even compared to Madonna (for a short time anyway), and it was just swell, Plus it gave her biggest and most iconic career defining hit 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head which was just everywhere back in 2001 and set the stage for a perfect smooth running era.

Even to this day I'd rank the lead as one of her all-time best, and yeah it did suffer from overplay and over exposed, but I think enough time passed to enjoy all it's glory again. The follow ups were just perfect 'In Your Eyes' (glorious with a fun and bright music video), 'Love At First Sight (an instant firm fave and still one of her greats) and of course the wonderful and classy 'Come Into My World' which round things of perfectly and ended the era with an almighty bang.

Also love the standout moments the title track 'Fever, 'Fragile, 'Love Affair, 'Your Love and the brilliant 'Burning Up' which was a great closer. Another fantastic moment which should have been on all the editions 'Tightrope', which could have been a great single in it's own right, back even the b-sides were amazing. On the whole this was just an amazing moment in her long career.

Fever was an amazing era success wise as kylie was just everywhere. I also remember it been quiet a big moment when cgyoony held of Michael Jackson's comeback on its 4th week at number 1. It was also the era that finally saw kylie win a richly and long awaited Brit award.

It is hard to believe that Kylie had to wait so long to win a Brit Award considering the success she had achieved prior to Fever.

That said, on the night seeing her win 2 awards and deliver a show stopping performance was a magical moment.
