I feel like Naomi would've been perfect for all stars in a couple of years alongside Monet. She's just not fully there yet which is a shame. But that lipsync last week was everything!

That’s the point - elevated for her. I’m not saying it’s a bad look but people are more impressed with it because of how poor her other looks have been. It’s All Stars. Don’t wait seven episodes to serve something.

I think Naomi is 100% there. She should have been top two for Snatch Game easily and slayed the first two challenges, she just has has bad luck with the judging.

100% agreed, it was only good because it was a miracle to see her something other than a stoned gown :lol: It took that long to do something else, and I can imagine next time she'll be a bit complacent and big headed over her win and be back to her usual safe comfort zone.

 

As for Naomi, I think she's one of those on the cusp of being good on her season and great for All Stars, she's great in her own way and lovely and everything but she just gets drowned out net to the likes of Manila, Monique and Trinity who are huge personalities and easily shine. In saying that, she has done really well to show she has improved, nobody would have expected Naomi from Season 8 to be high in Snatch Game or make herself look silly in a bizarre performance like her talent show. She's got the makeover and presumably a ball coming so she can definitely be proud of her run on All Stars, but she is far from deserving to win or anything.

Naomi won the makeover challenge on her series so I'm praying she can repeat that this week.

Valentina was my Queen to win so I'm horrified that she's gone (fully feel like this was her time to go though since she had become so lazy and deluded or at least according to the show's infamous ""edit"".)

 

I am fully TEAM NAOMI now, although I will except a Trinity or a Manila win.

We have 3 makeover challenge winners and 2 who landed in the bottom on it (and Monique x) so the results of the episode SHOULD be obvious but with AS people seem to often fail and excel at different things than they did in their first season

Given how they're loving their narratives this season, I'm fully expecting Monet to be top 2 to redeem herself from season 10, with like 20 confessionals about she needs this and has something to prove :lol:

There is no way Monet's runway was worse than Monique's, it wasn't perfect, but from the chest up it was completely stunning to me!

I'm starting to get concerned Monet is going to win this. I would genuinely have had her in the bottom with Latrice this week and instead she... won? I can accept her being 4th best as Manila's outfits were a bit sloppy but there's no way she was in the top 2. With that Casper the Ghost looking ass make-up? Over Trinity's STUNNING look and by far the best family resemblance. Really???

 

As for the decision... I can't. She really should not have gone over Latrice, I do not understand.

This series has been a f***ing mess, and Drag Race has gone way donehill recently with messy decisions and trying to push an agenda on to us. I will still watch it but it definitely doesn't have the same magic/excitement it once had.

The concept of All Stars is great... however the series' always descend into a mess.

It’s too soon to talk about the loss of Manila but I’m mostly mad that Trinity wasn’t top 2? How was Monét top 2? Why do they KEEP over praising Monet? Trintiy was leagues above everyone else.

I'm GAGGED! Genuinely screamed when Naomi revealed the lipstick. I was sure it would be Latrice as she's there on borrowed time at this point.

 

Manila and Valentina 6th and 7th respectively. That's pretty ridiculous but as long as Monique gets further I'm good :')

It's easy to say when it's your fave inthe bottom, but that was just a whole other level of bs :lol: How are they gonna spend all series harping on about track record and then send home the front runner?? I've got even less time for Naomi than I ever did, you shouldn't have to send home the best in order to win. Like Trinity said, to be an All Star you beat the best. However, she did SLAY the challenge and absolutely murdered the lipsync, so fair enough, absolutely she was the winner. But Monet.... I genuinely would have had her bottom with Latrice, Patty's make-up alone :manson: Manila's look did seem a bit thrown together and it was a huge step down from the elaborately campy looks we've seen all season, but they both looked good. Bottom 2 wasn't a huge stretch, but going certainly was, and Monet top 2 over Trinity is the biggest stretch I've seen on Drag Race, choices. That lipsync was embarrassing too, I think she was trying to be poised and understated but Judy Garland is hardly the time to be understated, Naomi really went for it and buried her.

 

It's an absolute mess that this happens every time, I think it should just be normal Drag Race rules. It's not even drama half of the time, it's just ridiculous and transparent with very odd decisions. To be horrendously cynical, it feels like they decided ages ago that Monet was going to win and have to craft a narrative to make it look like she deserved it. They aren't fooling anybody, it was bad enough that she dodged bottom for the talent show and Snatch Game, but to get a win when really there was a case for bottom 2... It's the most blatant building of a narrative I've seen on this show and I feel like she'll win now too :( As a queen, I like Monet more than Naomi tbh but this run on AS4 has been average at best, with a track record the judges have inflated to being maybe worthy of winning.

Manila definitely doesn't have the best personality (I love her but she will always be a bitch based on her behaviour in season 3) but there is absolutely no way that she deserves to go over Latrice. I'm actually gutted for her, after Valentina going last week, this is probably my least favourite final 5 in All Stars since the first season. This. They need to change the rules. It worked in All Stars 2 because it was unexpected. It's not good television when a frontrunner, a favourite, leaves for no real reason. It's empty drama and not worth the gag when the next episodes fail to deliver. You can't have good television when the queens who were making it good television are gone. If you fail a lip-sync then it was your own doing, rather than this.

 

Naomi was incredible in this episode - destroyed that lip-sync. Monet continues to disappoint me and I have no clue how she managed it into the top.
