Looks as though they didn’t overproduce the physicals. Red vinyl and CD probably going to be reduced first. Green ones will be good for next season unless they expand it (again) with more tracks.

Well i would have to say they certainly didnt over produce the cd as its only now available in Ireland ( im due to get mine from Amazon this week).

Im still a little miffed by how botched the release was here.

Parlophone got burned by their re-issue of KC on vinyl and flogging them for £8 on Amazon 🤣

Wonder how many are left? It’s a quality vinyl repress so it’s a bargain….but gonna be a tough sell now.

Guessing they must be pretty happy with numbers left - there was no reductions on Amazon etc.,

I’m sure it’ll get a few trickle sales and price cut during the year.

I'm surprised they didn't do offers last week to move stock while people were still.in christmas mode or even offers for this week for all the bargain hunters

Was expecting it tbh to squeeze a few more sales - Townsend always seem content to sit on warehouses full of stock but thought we’d see a reduction at Amazon.

If it was I would have reduced them, christmas albums in general have a very short selling span so they should have tried to move them with discounts.

I'm assuming some of the cds that were left were just shipped to Ireland to fulfill orders here.

Not top 100 in Ireland this week, I half thought with cds finally shipping it might show up in the chart.

Disappointing she didn’t manage to sneak a week or two in Ireland - it’s usually such a good market for her.

Ya 1 week at number 40 is all it managed which i suppose is better than nothing but its her worst charting album here but i blame it more down to stock not available more than fans deserting her.

As expected not in the Top 100 this week.

1-29-20-out.

Hopefully it’ll return next year to clock up a few extra weeks.

Its a weird chart run but im still fine with it and all going well it will be back next year.

Yes would love more chart weeks but not bothered as it adds to her tally of #1s - wish they’d pushed harder with the IP re-issue to have secured her another chart topper!

Maybe they could push tension live very hard next month and go for the number 1 although live albums never get the same buy in as regular items for most.

What do you think the chances are they will reissue the album again next year so that XMAS is available on all versions of the album?

Also how would you feel about having to buy another issue of the album?

Hmmm, I think they might just settle with putting it on the digital edition when it's made widely available most likely.

I'd like to think even her team would think it's a pisstake to expect everyone to buy the actual album again just for one song

I would think adding it digitally would be best overall as i don't think (my own opinion) that fans want to buy the album again even if Xmas and say 2 more new songs are added but i genuinely think it would only be a new digital version this year that ideally would be promoted by a new mix of Hot in December as a new Christmas single (backed with physicals) and im also sure Xmas will get a new remix to help it do something in the charts again.

If just that alone was done the album may re enter the charts again.
