Hopefully she can sustain some form of career and isn't a one hit wonder. I suspect she will be though, but WHAT A HIT to be a one hit wonder with *.*

I dunno, I think she could get a career out of it if 'Sweet But Psycho' continues to gain traction! I thought Zara was going to be a one hit wonder with 'Lush Life'.
I always kinda considered 'Never Forget You' as a feature tbh. Zara was just the closest example I could think of :P.

Zara was actually credited first on Never Forget You everywhere outside the UK! I think they swapped it here because MNEK was a bigger name at the time (a strange thought nowadays). I get your point though! I can see Ava managing a string of hits but it's a stab in the dark until we actually hear the follow-up.

I'm not so sure, she could very easily go the way of Starley and Maggie Lindemann who similarly had songs blow up from mass Spotify playlist promo.
I think she's gonna be one-hit wonder
Like I said, I don't think we can make these sorts of predictions without hearing what she comes out with next. It's waaaay too early and there's pretty much nothing to go off yet.

Yeah it's with Jason Derulo but I'm not here for it as much so I'll wait for her next solo single :kink: Although I love her David Guetta collab and a song called 'Into Your Arms' with Witt Lowry.

Her other songs sound great too, but SBP is on another level for me. I'm just really pleased to see it's taken off

I don't have a very opinion of her, but it's cos the horrible song she did with Guetta, on his album 7, sampling/murdering Tom's Diner like if nobody had done it before, very original not

That was it, thank you! Interesting if they really promote that one.

I think Katy Perry is a really good example in the same sort of vein, I was totally convinced she'd (most likely) be a one hit wonder at the time.

thats true about Katy Perry

I remember I was living in LA at the time and for months she was like the next big thing, I remember she had a single called U R So Gay, that did nothing,

then when I Kissed A Girl came out and finally she got a hit, I really thought, that's it, one-hit wonder for sure

Katy Perry screamed one-hit wonder, IKAG is almost novelty with its faux-outrageous lyrics  But the second I heard Hot N Cold I knew she was going to shake that label off, what a tune.
