guess Tom Odell is being promoted by R2, hence the big jump this morning

pity R2 listeners probably don't know how to stream a song :D

Ariana already got good YT figures with the lyric video and thats the current #1 although with low figures, not sure what to expect as the video for Breathin didn't have a massive effect

YT views are bizarre sometimes, like 1999 got top 20 with the lyric video but then the official (and amazing) official video never got there, makes no sense to me

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe lyric video views count towards the charts, Its official music video's only!

So streaming sales at moment isn't coming from the lyric video.

Breathing didn't have big boost with official music video but thank you next should have a pretty decent boost I would imagine.

36. Lewis Capaldi - Grace

37. Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved

Grace is building momentum really nicely but Someone You Loved is that high without airplay yet :o I think it's set to be a huge hit providing they don't wait too long to push it!

Someone You Loved sounds like a big hit. Can see this doing well next year.

pretty sure official lyric videos count for the charts, I mean an official lyric video from the artist official site, not fan-made

Ariana is #1 right now with the official lyric video for Thank you next and it's been #1 for a while now

1. Tom Odell - Piano Man (Live from Radio 2's Chris Evans Breakfast Show)

5. Ava Max - Sweet but Psycho

68. Claire Richards - My Heart Is Heading Home (This Christmas) [Radio Mix]

83. NCT 127 - Simon Says

87. DigDaT - AirForce (feat. Krept & Konan & K-Trap) [Remix]

91. The Streets - Call Me in the Morning (feat. Chip & Grim Sickers)

192. Rita Ora & Rudimental - Summer Love

368. Jamie Lawson - Testify

As long is it from an official artist page, I do believe that they are included as video streams.

Breathin' got overshadowed by the surprise release of Thank U, Next. Shame Breathin' didn't really get time to shine on it's own.

'thank u, next' actually isn't in the OCC's video streaming chart at all so it looks like it is only music videos that count. Which I guess makes some sense but I would have thought lyric videos would count as well.

Thanks for clearing this up bre, I was pretty sure Lyric videos didn't count and I also noticed Ariana is no where to be seen on the video stream charts with thank you next.

Ok i was going by the kworb youtube chart

But i see now its different from the occ

Makes no sense to me thought

Its silly that Ariana is losing 500k daily video streams

Cos its a lyric video

Lyric videos DO count, I don't see why they wouldn't. thank u, next hasn't had a video stream value of 0 at any point so it obviously isn't being streamed in enough quantities. That's how it's new at #82 this week on video streaming.

I don’t think this is true. Woman Like Me got video streams for its first two weeks before the video was out, presumably from the lyric video. Thank You Next charted too in the top 90!

Yeah I take that post back - but when I checked 'thank u, next' was yet to make the top 100 so I assumed it just wasn't having any streams counted, as I'm very surprised that the lyric video's numbers were not enough to even make the top 100.

From next week will all the new tracks begin to get lost in the Xmas song build up until 27/12?

But if you look at the Youtube chart at Kworb

thank you next has been @1 with 500k daily streams for + 1 week now

Sure thats the officual lyric video

How can she be only @80 in the official charts?
