Robbie, If that's the case then why was 'Numb/Encore' not allowed to chart alongside three other Linkin Park songs when it was credited jointly to Jay-Z and Linkin Park?

'Arms Around You' is jointly on Warner Bros/Bad Vibes Forever/Empire and the 'SKINS' album is on Bad Vibes Forever/Empire so it's not like they've been released entirely on separate labels either.

I get the feeling the OCC simply just 'decided' a while ago to change the interpretation of their own rules.

WhoOdyssey, yes 'Pray For Me' did get starred out, and then one of the EP tracks got starred out the week after when PFM re-entered his top 3 (then the week after that PFM fell out of his top 3 and was starred out of the chart again).

they also allowed 4 Guetta tracks, which are all in his album, unlike the xxx case, so no excuses there

might have been confusing cos one song was Guetta & Sia, another Guetta & DeRulo etc but at the end of the day it was clearly 4 tracks of Guetta's album and he was credited as main lead or co-lead in all of them, he was not featured in any of those

Goodbye is primarily Derulo's song, so that will be why.

I think that was because 'Goodbye' was counting towards Jason Derulo instead of David Guetta. Which would seem to make sense because Jason was the first artist listed even though Guetta was a co-lead. But then XXXTENTACION is the first artist listed on all 4 of his songs that are apparently being allowed to chart, and Linkin Park were limited to three even though 'Numb/Encore' has Jay-Z as the first listed artist. So basically we have no way to tell how the OCC are going to interpret their rules, they just do whatever they feel like doing. Maybe it does just come down to the whole label thing but as Dan said the 4 X songs are all on Bad Vibes Forever so it's still pretty much arbitrary.
Do we just wait until tomorrow's full chart is published? They might keep consistency with the actual Friday chart

one track was Derulo & Guetta, but still it's a "&", as in "equal contribution", so should count as part of the 3

the occ being inconsistent as per usual

I know, where was the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra collab version of "Golden" by Kylie for everyone to ask if it was still top 53 every day?
You joke but I bet there actually will be a Kylie/RPO album.
They seem to be ploughing through every legendary act over the past few xmas'!!
Didn't Kylie already do that sort of orchestral greatest hits, doubt she would get away with another.
Elvis Presley has 'got away with' two RPO albums in quick succession :P (and Roy Orbison for that matter). These things will always sell well.
Top 70 but lower than she was on Monday.

Thanks so much for the reply! So curious what the final week's sales will be :).

How come there are so many RPO albums this year usually we only get 1

Milking the older album selling market while there is still a market. They have done well with majority of releases, so can’t blame the RPO and artist labels for capitalising on the previous success.
