December 10, 20187 yr In the beginning Florence & The Machine were a band, with Isabella Summers being "The Machine", she cowrote most of the classic Florence & the Machine early tracks like Cosmic Love and Dog Days and also coproduced most of Lungs, and also toured with Florence but I noticed she is not credited on the last album so right now it might be really a solo project for real now

December 10, 20187 yr I bought my physical copy for the first time this week *.* Also, Sky Box Office seems to have put major interest in the film and soundtrack again. It's amazing. An actual phenomenon. :wub: Also, quite surprised Ava is as close as she is to Ariana! Indeed, it's being shown on Sky One on Xmas day as well. Sort of fitting it's looking set to be the Xmas no1 as well. What's with the huge rise for Roy Orbison?
December 10, 20187 yr in the early days, Florence was writing the lyrics and Isabella Summers the beats, think it was Florence that gave Isabella Summers the nickname "The Machine" Florence & The Machine was basically a duo of the two of them + random musicians

I agree - it’s definitely been a conscious effort to market the band using just Olly this time around. Last album they marketed very much as a band. Wonder who’s idea that is and if the others (Mikey and....er....) are happy with it
