Nice to see a charity song looking at getting the Christmas #1 again, haven’t heard the song but I suppose it’s not the song itself that matters as much as the meaning behind it’s campaign. It will be a shame if Ava misses out on #1 though but if it’s Mariah that claims the #1 instead it’s not the end of the world. Hopefully Ava will get a shot in the New Year but new Post Malone could prevent her :P

Actually it would be pretty hilarious if she’s blocked from #1 three weeks in a row by three different songs: Ladbaby, Mariah, Post Malone. Has that happened before? I feel like it has but I’m blanking (Moves Like Jagger? How Deep Is Your Love?)

Use that 99p to buy Sweet but Psycho

I downloaded that on Tuesday ;)

Loved sweet but psycho for months way before it become a thing.

Aww, He is getting my 99p after all then, Come on sausage roll.

After VAT, iTunes share, Starships share and what LadBaby’s website describe as “label and management” fees the charity would probably be better off if you buy Ava for 59p and donate 40p direct.

I detest sausage rolls with passion now  :(

Ava could miss out on a potential #1 now

Exactly, an Xmas #1 too. So exclusive and like someone else mentioned, gives a great story for her career.

I had bets on Ava, Ariana and Miley and was convinced I'd at least covered my stakes! Damn damn damn! Serves me right I suppose. Gambling is bad!
I've just listened to the sausage roll song for the first time and enjoyed it. I hope it's the Christmas number 1. It's clearly much better than that boring Ava Max song.

Delusion... convince yourself

It's pushed 'Sweet But Psycho' down to 14%, I think Ladbaby will be 100% now. Poor Ava.
Where's It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year by Andy Williams please?
Has Baby stayed Top 30?

Yup

Top 50

Lmaoooo. This is truly the darkest timeline. I really hope Ava can still get to #1 at a later date anyway, preferably preventing Mariah from taking it next week please :P I guess I can never be mad at a song making a good amount of money for charity and all but this honestly is going to be probably the worst song to ever get Christmas #1, I usually love a novelty hit but this is just painfully cringeworthy.

Interesting that during the week of the Xmas #1 there have been three different songs that were odds-on favourites at some point. Has that ever happened before?

Thank you for the full update Joseph!

How many copies is Leona ahead of #20 do you know? Hopefully she stays 19 / 20 tomorrow.

it seems the kworb feed is delayed, because yesterday the ladbaby song was going behind on that feed

Omg omg come on ladbaby and he was on bbc breakfast this morning

Hopefully Ava still gets a week though

She's a few hundred sales ahead of #20 and over a thousand ahead of #21 so she should remain top 20.
I can't believe this track is going to get played on TOTP on Xmas Day
