YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.

2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range

3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)

4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.

5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.

6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

Thank you.

Always find the first weeks of the year really weird to look at following our peak sales weeks of the previous two months lol.

Only just seeing this weeks sales as I haven't looked at the chart yet! Sales always in between on this week - they'll fall a lot more in the next few weeks to 4-5k for a top 10 album :(

Should total not be total sales since 1994?

Paul Heaton will easily manage gold now,it has held up well the last few weeks.

There's a glaring omission from the album. No Caravan Of Love, the Housemartins' biggest hit. Happy Hour is there.

Could this be the first year since 2013 that neither of the two biggest albums are by Adele or Ed Sheeran? And first without them in the top 3 since 2010?
There seem to be a lot of rumours that Adele is going to release a new album this year and she'd presumably be the favourite to get the EOY #1 album if she does (even if it's a step down from the sales of the last two).

It's been rumoured for a while that she's releasing an album in Quarter 4, 2019. Which probably means some time in November. And no doubt dropping a track in September or October. It's a long wait though for it to happen, nine months away at the very least...

She could probably relaase an album on 31st Dec and still have it be the best-seller for the year! :w00t:

But sure Ed is back soon too

Doesn't he have already a summer tour in place?

Imagine if Ed & Adele were to release albums on the same week!

It would be lovely for the public to get attached to an artist that isn’t Ed or Adele tho.
