Wasn't it released in 2016 :P
The Greatest Showman soundtrack was released in December 2017, and went to #1 in 2018 :magic:
it was a 5k sales

Yes but that's counteracted by whatever sales they end up getting on Thursday this week (predicting 2k-3k, maybe that's generous).

I have a feeling that Sam Smith will knock Ava off the top spot :( but if Ava can make it to four weeks at number one then it'd be amazing for her career

I honestly think that whether she manages 3 or 4 weeks at number 1, it will make no difference to her career. It has made number 1 and that was enough. Making 10 weeks or so at number 1 is the next milestone.

Why? He’s almost 10k behind

She needs 5-7 weeks up there for sure, it doesnt matter if it happens to be a re entry at some point or another, but I want her to be big, not forgotten like cover drive

Erm....yes that’s what I meant  :kink:

She's already outlasted and outsold Cover Drive's #1. 4 weeks at #1 which she'll no doubt get is very impressive anyhow, and if Sam Smith overtakes next week she'll most likely be spending an 8th week top 2.

Why the cover drive comparison?

Erm no she got number 1 more than a week and after taking 10+ weeks to get there, what she needs to do is capitalise on this and release another big single, if she doesn’t then she is more likely to be forgotten

Cover drive deserved better and they truly didn't deserve to be dropped.
Not looking good for Ava is she's already compared to Cover Drive LMAO

Those songs did absolutely nothing WW

Poor sweet completely forgetten Cover Drive

Tbh Ava has already done better than most one hit wonder style #1s from recent years. It’s not like SBP had one fluke week at #1 when sales were low she’s been at the top for a month and all over Spotify and (I presume) radio. If she does end up flopping with her future singles then it’s not the end of the world, she’s probably made enough from SBP to sustain her future

I noticed Westlife have dropped a lot on tunes now, down to #6 and doing half of what Ava Max is doing, which is not that much anyway

but on the other hand, they're in the Youtube top 20 now, so that might help a bit
