billie can wait. the UK needs that dreary song to spend its 136th week at #1
'bad guy' has come around at totally the wrong time of the year tbh, it'd make such a perfect Halloween bop.

Starting to really appreciate 8

The second chorus in particular is great

This whole album is so great  Bad Guy has grown on me sooooo much!! Bury A Friend is alright too but I prefer the other singles by far
Woke up early so I’ve just got her Coachella set on, she’s pretty great live! The crowd certainly love her and she’s a lot more energetic than I thought she’d be :kink:
Fantastic the success she had with this in the charts. Hoping 'Bad Guy' can replace Lewis this week.

Well I was wrong there,

Looks like that she may have missed her best chance to get the #1 spot.

The album is having a solid performance.

A Number 1 single would be wonderful but i dont believe it will come during this campaign.

I haven't got round to purchasing the physical album yet but have enjoyed what i have heard so far.

I knew this would be fairly big but I didn’t expect it to last like it has

3 weeks top 2 In UK still probably getting over 15k in week 3, and still top 3 on iTunes

It's impressive.

I know Lorde is the most obvious comparison, but her success actually reminds of Avril Lavigne. She was a young girl with a strong visual and sonic identity that was unmistakenly her. It was different enough from what was being offered at the time by other female artists. It all resonated with teens in a big way, as well as managing to crossover to adults.

Back to #1 in the UK

When was the last time a non-British female had a debut album stay at #1 for 3 weeks? It may not have been long ago I just can’t remember any recently

Sorry for the late reply but it was actually Gaga with 'The Fame'. It doesn't happen very often at all. Only females this century are Avril, Beyonce, Gaga and now Billie

The longevity for this is so impressive, especially considering that most albums seem to drop like a brick after week 1 these days!

"all the good girls go to hell" is slated to be pushed as the next single from the album. The track will be sent to Italian radio this Friday.
