I was hoping that you'd like In The Loop! (Not just because it's an Italian talent show reject, I thought it could possibly be something you'd like regardless... although it being an Italian talent show reject does help xx)

I have a really good feeling about my entry this time, for the first time since 'Sisters' I feel like I might have found something that has a good shot at crossover appeal. Waiting for it all to crumble down as I come 17th yet again anyway though. :D

I was actually so so close to sending an original song I found from an X Factor Italy audition too that would've been new bloc goals *.* But it was basically a definite DNQ so nah

I'm pretty nervous about my entry as it's not something I'd typically send! Hoping the risk pays off as my other potentials were much safer.

I don't recognize anything on this list so that's a nice way to start the year.

Not even Trampoline? That’s been everywhere for a couple months thanks to that one iPhone XS commercial
You have a phobia of ducks.

Not sure I follow that!

Sparks' original name was Halfnelson. This is the second time Sparks have represented Suedeonia, making it a double Halfnelson. That, of course, is a full Nelson which, as cricket fans will know, is 111.

I was thinking you wanted to invade Imaduck's country because you don't like ducks.

After I posted that,I did think of the Halfnelson name in relation to 111 but I didn't make the connection to it being Sparks second time.

Suedeonia is a peace-loving country.

May I remind you that I have caught your delegate harassing the water fowl on four occasions.

He wasn't harassing them; he was trying to get them to pose for a photograph :(

Voting links are live the format has changed so do have a quick look to see how it works, feel free to ask questions in the thread. Or point out things that I've done wrong (it's quite likely), make sure not to submit your votes because you cannot edit after submission (as per BJSC rules).

my PJSC habits die hard and I forgot to put nation names in.

I'll fix that for the final.

I pretty much record all my shows and skip the commercials, but there's a chance I'll recognize it when I hear it.

Voted nice and early  A lot of alternative tracks swaying me more than the usual dancepop this time round.

I'll host one for this semi tomorrow.

(the session for semi 2 is happening tonight as posted in the other thread ~)

I couldnt see that connection!

Re: ducks, I'm from Mansfield and the traditional greeting is either " 'ey oop dukk" or " 'ey oop dukkie" when meeting in the street. Ducks are a sign of familiar endearment, and also the best, longest joke in the world ever:

Duck walks into a bar.....etc.
