I imagine its first week will be its biggest, but it'll still draw big numbers over the next few weeks. I think it's likely to be the #1 film until the end of the year.
You're forgetting about Jumanji: The Next Level, Star Wars & Cats (potentially - literally depends on word of mouth about Star Wars  - although I suspect Cats to take number 1 the week after it's debut)

I don't think Jumanji will necessary be No.1. Are they still as popular?

I personally think Frozen will be number 1 until January, it will be the film people will want to watch over the Xmas holidays.
Surely Star Wars at least will beat it in its opening week?

I'm not sure Jumanji will get to #1 but the previous movie did really well (the 5th highest grossing movie of 2017 worldwide, even I didn't realise until just now that it was that much of a success :o) and it has previews this coming weekend plus the official opening is on a Wednesday (11th) so I think it will have seven days worth of takings counting towards it's initial opening tally?

Still not convinced it'll knock Frozen off.

Yes it surely will. I'd be gobsmacked if it didn't.

Is there a weekly USA box office chart? I wanted to see how well Charlie's Angels had done! It can't compete with Frozen, but a strong no.2 will do!

Charlie’s Angels opened at #3 in the U.S. 3 weeks ago with $8,351,109 behind Ford v Ferrari and Midway.

2nd week it fell to #8 with £3,326,460 and last weekend to #14 with $1,257,568.

Overall it’s been one of the biggest flops of the year.

Box Office Mojo provides the US Box Office figures. It's been a great treasure-trove of box-office information that goes back 40 years.

Jumanji did so well in 2017/2018 because it held up well in to January after the last Star Wars film got good critic reviews but got slammed by the audiences. Star Wars will open to huge number, but it will depend on the audience/critics whether it holds up well in to the new year. Otherwise Frozen/Jumanji likely to beat it over the box office.

But Star Wars is going to open to massive numbers Avengers style that’s for sure.

Surprised LC isn't No2 anymore!

Hasn't done as well as I thought it might. Many people didn't think it was very good so guess word of mouth is a bit of a problem for it.

Yeh I've heard it's poor, I like seeing a Christmas film at this time of year though.

Bad Santa's my favourite. :D

Yeh it's good but I'm sentimental so like home alone, national lampoon and it's a wonderful life ❤️
