You can get a free trial on Apple Music, those streams would only count for 600/1200

Pretty sure free trials are still treated as premiums as you have to subscribe first, even if you don’t pay until the end of the trial period.

 

YouTube video views are the only other big platform I can think of subject to the 600/1200 (acr) ratios.

Yes, but those streaming the whole album probably would've listened to the song in full. :P

Also, no one clicks the album, listens to 30 secs of each song on an album and leaves it there, people are not that stupid. The albun track streams are most likely genuine listens.

Marina currently has two singles out and is nowhere to be seen in the top 200. I suppose people don't actually want to stick to Marina.

That Picture This song is now no 1 on Hot Hits U.K., despite not being in the top 50 on the official Spotify chart. I’d love to be a fly on the wall during some of the playlist conversations because some of the decisions are just completely baffling.

The record company strategy regarding Ava Max is interesting.. She had a show in London last weekend and So Am I is prominent on every playlist in my country, yet the playlist promo in the UK is minimal yet. Are they waiting for the Radio 1 playlist add or sth?
