I could really do without another one, but I think it's to tie-in with Glastornbury (and could do really well if you think about how Dolly Parton did after her Glastonbury appearance), and there's also the fact she doesn't actually have a comprehensive GH available to buy at the moment.
April 8, 20196 yr The fact that the announcement is apparently Friday at midnight makes me think it’s music. My guess would be the announcement of a Greatest Hits with new songs and a single released this Friday from it.

None of her Greatest Hits are available to buy apart from her PWL one which is basically the singles from her albums with them. I think a GH whilst not be what the fan base want will be a big seller to the GP with Glastonbury, Pride and all her summer shows, hopefully it’s a fully comprehensive GH covering her entire career or something like what Ollly done with his last album - a GH mixed with new material.
April 8, 20196 yr I think it will be a Greatest Hits and new single. I am all for a new Greatest Hits if they do a strong track listing and have it available for the future. As we said before its crazy that a proper Greatest Hits is not always available from someone so successful and with such a huge back catalogue as Kylie.
April 9, 20196 yr Greatest Hits album on pre-release? Sigala track to start with? I did think possibly the Sigala track but that seems so old now but it’s a possibility - Sigala’s album hung around for a few weeks so MOS will be keen to push it further so could get a release in the run up to the GH? I’m hoping it’s a brand new track though.
April 9, 20196 yr The Sigala track could be on a new Greatest hits, for us fans, i would love a bonus cd on the greatest hits to include some of her duets etc in the last couple of years songs such as the other boys and right here right now etc, i would love having a official cd with those type of songs but it likely wont happen. I do think there is a possibility of a single cd release and then a different version with a 2 cd package to include a more extensive range.

Don’t want to get my hopes up but they could do something really special with this release a standard GH CD for the GP and a special edition on her website covering her entire career - not convinced we’ll get it though as I’m sure there are far too many negotiations needed with various labels she’s released on (PWL, Parlophone, Deconstruction, BMG etc,). April 9, 20196 yr Imagine if it's a brand new album, It wouldn’t totally surprise me - she said she had a ton of material that didn’t make it to Golden, also she could do what Olly Murs done and have a double album - one disc of hits and another of new material. I’m trying not to get too excited though and I end up disappointed :lol:

Her only Greatest Hits commercially available at the moment is her 1992 release. Ultimate Kylie and The Best of Kylie are unavailable physically (bar second hand of course), digitally and on streaming! So she’s due a release that is more comprehensive & with her current label. The 2012 album was rather lame, she needs a better track list than that to do justice to her overall career!
