S: You filmed that video with her just nine weeks after you’d given birth to your third child...

JW: You only do that for Kylie Minogue, because she’s the greatest. She’s been so generous; it was a real pinch-me moment to write that song with her, and to sing and perform it. She’s a superstar, and there’s a reason why she carries on being

a total icon. I have so much time for her.

Jessie Ware’s album That! Feels Good! is out this Friday.

Hope SH comes back  They haven’t updated anything on their Facebook page since April 5th either.

Kylie been very quiet on social media.......

Wonder if she will be at the Met Gala this weekend?

Jessie Ware on Sunday Brunch.

Usually some free promo for Kylie Haha, even if just a mention

I think he thinks it’s a compliment. But he’s obviously a bit of an arrogant jerk.

By using the word “rubbish” he’s minimising the legitimacy of Kylie’s work. And frankly he’s “negging” her.

She’s a creative powerhouse. And pop music is no less valid than other genres.

Edit: Also, pretending he struggles to remember her name … please.

So many leaks... apparently this is all leaking as a distraction tactic to discourage further Tension leaks.

Golden (Demo) *

Disco

Feel the Love

A Rose Is a Rose

The Loneliest Kind of Lover

Tears of Joy

People

Eyes on You

Apparently all from Disco, apart from Golden obviously. Exciting!

* This is actually a Demo of Rollin'!! Different lyrics:

"Maybe if you wait and hold on, it could be golden" instead of "You don't ride until you've been rode so keep on rollin'"

and

"We are golden" instead of "Keep on rollin'"

How fascinating that Rollin' started life as Golden, but then they came up with a completely different Golden song and repurposed the original as Rollin'.

Even more leaks:

Sad Song

Rewind

Beautiful Disaster

Like Lightning

Shooting Star

Sweet Spot

It seems that they're all BMG era songs, i.e. Golden / Disco eras (although I think A Rose Is a Rose was attached to the Step Back in Time era specifically).

'Disco' being discarded from the album of the same name... what a misstep, it's great! It samples He's the Greatest Dancer! I have to wonder why this was rejected - maybe she/the team thought it was too on the nose to have a song called Disco on Disco? Or problems with clearing the sample?

'The Loneliest Kind of Lover' is quite lovely, it's somewhere between midtempo and uptempo, and has a bit of a wistful quality to it. "I found you - underneath the mirrorball, I found you" :music:

'Eyes on You' is apparently from the Golden era, but the production is quite dancey - maybe it's from before they decided to shift into the country-pop direction.

Supposedly 'Tears of Joy' is another discarded Tension era track. I'm unfortunately not great at describing what a song sounds like and drawing from references. All I can say is it's quite a foot tapper, the production feels pulsating (not in a clubby way, it's pop).

Pretty much all of these leaks are uptempo songs. 'Sad Song' is slower, but not in a ballady way... it kind of puts me in mind of emotional Carly Rae Jepsen songs that nevertheless have quite uptempo pop production.

'Rewind' sounds Golden-esque (not in banjos and fiddles sort of way though) - it's one of the best songs in this set of leaks. 'Shooting Star' also seems to me like it could be from the Golden era.

'Sweet Spot' is giving me Body Language, although it's definitely from BMG.

It's overwhelming to have all of these unheard Kylie songs all at once, it's practically like having a brand new album! There's definitely some keepers amongst this lot, certainly a few "how didn't this make it onto the album?" moments.

There are leaks all over Twitter from the new album including demos that didn’t make it - only clips but they are literally everywhere :drama: I’m not listening to anything now until it’s officially released.

Even more leaks:

Tears Will Dry

Feel

Fingerprints

Here I Go Again

Not Letting Go

4 Letter Word

What Do You Know?

Was It Ever Really Love

Uncut Stone

Queen of recording a shedload of songs and then never using them!

There's also leaks of demo versions of many songs from Golden/Disco albums. It's like the BMG vault has been well and truly been depleted. Although Tears Will Dry is apparently Aphrodite era.
