I have felt the same for weeks (never particularly wowed by Shuga) but I do think the winning team was so good that it should have saved them from even the prospect of being in the bottom.

 

It just felt very forced and produced — they knew they wanted her to leave before that episode even started.

This is also a problem with Shuga. She was saved SO many times by not being the worst which is not exactly an achievement in itself.

 

I'm one of the few people who didn't seem to be bothered with this elimination despite the fact it was Silky's time to go since episode 2 lmao

Shuga was the wrong person to go, even if (in terms of challenges) she was largely forgettable.

 

I will miss her voiceover things though, YES HONEY she was my favourite!

Having watched the episode, I have absolutely no idea why Shuga was in the Bottom 2. I thought Vanjie's group was absolutely god-awful from start-to-finish. The only thing I liked about it was A'Keria's outfit LOL.

 

Nina's group was so fantastic. You can tell that not only was it meticulously thought out, but it was executed BRILLIANTLY. Shuga was by no-means anywhere near Brooke Lynn or Nina, but it was actually well-delivered? Shuga's runway was a disaster though which definitely muted some of the good. I know people liked her first kaftan prior to the reveals but I didn't even like that.

 

Vanjie absolutely MURDERED in the lip-sync tho. SO GOOD! What a great song choice as well.

Shuga is getting BUTCHERED, she got ripped apart on Fashion Photo Ruview too and I don't think the first kaftan was THAT bad at all! It certainly wasn't SO bad that it meant she slipped below a group where she was better than all of them.

I’ve watched it a couple of times now and Nina, Brooke and Shuga’s magic show was one of the most professional and tight routines for that type of challenge ever. Nina absolutely deserved the win and Brooke and Shuga were great too. I honestly thought the other team would do a 4 way lip sync...Shuga getting put there was ridiculous. Yvie was absolutely terrible. Her or Silky should have been bottom 2.

Yeah me too, I rewatched thinking maybe I was tired and missed something but nope it's just convincing me more :lol:

 

And even if by the judges tastes Shuga's runway was awful (I can see why people think that), then like I said it was not bad enough to undo the disparity between her and the members of the other team. Whether it was overall her time to go or not, she did not deserve bottom 2 there.

These are the types of episodes in TV shows that make me not want to watch anymore.

 

Honestly, when they were doing the critiques they were STRETCHING with Shuga and then to put her in the bottom, I was ready to just turn off and not bother with the rest of the season. :rolleyes:

There is absolutely 100% no way in hell that she was worse than any member of the other team...
