Any promo in Australia?

Warner’s are really promoting the release on their social media accounts but seems like there is nothing from Kylie in terms of Australian interviews etc., - I know she always takes her tours to Australia but she seems to be more content (and successful) in the UK and makes that her focus.

I am excited for the release and it is crazily amazing that 31 years into her career, Kylie can still challenge for a Number 1 album.

It would be just wonderful if Kylie can achieve the Number 1 and have 2 back to back Number 1 albums and achieve her 7th in total.

If it does happen, Kylie will have equal number 1 albums and singles in the UK.

I’m not buying the album but if we get a reissue later in the year with something exciting I might consider it. I already have everything so seems a pointless release for me.
I have everything the album has but nonetheless i am excited for this release and i look forward to having it.

What’s everyone’s final predictions?

I’m going with #1 with 53,000!

It’s hard to know what this will open with....Greatest Hits especially have lost their selling power but this is a much better attempt for the fans and GP.

I think I put 26k-50k initially. I’m going for 48,000....same as Golden. I do think opening with anything over 20,000 would be impressive.

Off to HMV Birmingham today to buy some physicals.

I find this really hard to predict. I've no doubt it's going to sell well; I imagine it'll clear 30k+ but it could easily debut with similar sales as Golden did.

I'll be interested to know its streaming figures. Golden had 1,870 sales-equivalent streams so it's bound to be higher than that, will just be interesting how much Glastonbury can increase her streaming average.

With all the predictions this high, I mean anything above 15K almost guarantees here a nbr1 album since sales are so low...

The streaming of the album is weird though. Some of the tracks are linked to the original albums so which album will they count for?

On a positive note I think every HMV shop has tweeted this morning about Kylie with pictures of displays in their shops etc.

Yes it looks likely that 17-20k would be enough to reach #1 this week but hopefully Kylie totally smashes past that figure.

I ordered 11 items in total from her official site and got an MP3 download of the album for each item ordered so have downloaded them all as they only count as a sale if downloaded so if any of you have ordered anything don’t forget to do the same! With the iTunes and Amazon purchases too I’ve now contributed to a total of 25 sales :drama:

i am thinking Lewis Capaldi may well take top spot?

also appearing at Glastonbury and is streaming loads.....
