It's all that AND MORE.

I do think, actually - had she came back with this song following Prism at least a year earlier than she did, it would have been pretty massive.

Nick Jonas (poster) having a negative Katy Perry opinion shocker

It’s my third favourite by her behind E.T and I Kissed A Girl.

A huge hit. In the pre streaming days it would’ve been at least a top 5 hit! I genuinely felt this could’ve gotten her that Grammy too at least for dance recording I’m stunned it didn’t get nominated at all. I also really like the video too. A BOP.

This really is THAT song. I still listen to this constantly!
I think this is officially my favourite Katy single ever now. Who would have thought? :o After 7 years (imo) of underwhelming material she delivered such a divine track.

This. Saved. Pop.

I can't stop listening to this 24/7

I just heard this track for the first time today and thought of this straight away. I’d seen it on here a while back on on one of the first pages just didn’t get round to listening until today when the OCC posted an interview with Dagny which mentioned that song and Katy’s Never Really Over.

Never Really Over really was one of those times Katy got it RIGHT, both visually and sonically.

It still irritates me greatly that the world mostly slept on this masterpiece of our time. One year on and I still need to play it at least 2-3 times a week.

...No?

It's the first single that was released from the album — what would you call it?

Perhaps the tracklist hadn't been finalised at that time, or they just wanted to hype the release of 'Daisies' by calling it the first single. It's not that deep.

Why so many mental juggling just to deny the truth? Just knowing how to read is enough to know that Daisies is the first single, Katy's own words, and it's not the desperate fans who will change that.

It was quite literally the first single released from the album — a year ago. What would you call that? It's not difficult to grasp that Katy, and more importantly her team, would have wanted playlist support and hype for 'Daisies' after numerous underperforming singles last year. It's led the campaign this year.

I'm not entirely sure what you're so desperate to prove here, but it's embarrassing.

The only shameful thing here is you denying that Daisies is the first single (when Katy literally said Daisies is the first single) just because she included NRO (released more than a year ago) on the album to inflate streams, because if it depended on Daisies and Smile for that, the fate of this album would be even worse.

Stop living in a bubble and face reality. It's ridiculous to try to affirm at all costs something that isn't true. Embarrassing.

The lack of self-awareness jumped out.
