Agreed! :( A lot of the Anti album passed me by at the time but this really struck me. Stunning vocal performance, reminds me of Amy Winehouse in parts, and she smashes it out of the park when performed live. This really should have been a big hit for her here, although I do think it's more well known than its lack of chart success would suggest.

May 21, 20196 yr Rihanna could have sent a top 10 single to every round & still had plenty left in the tank. An admirable choice to send a less well-known track of hers but sadly the format of this contest is unforgiving.

May 21, 20196 yr I noticed that the play-off ended up so close that 1 or 2 people not knowing 'Love On The Brain' and not listening to it could've made the difference, which feels discouraging towards sending non-big hits in the future unfortunately. Congrats to Billie and Zara for beating Rihanna and Ariana with much smaller discographies!

Probably after 'Love Me Harder' and 'break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored'. Then the choices slowly would've got more popular (stuff like ‘Dangerous Woman’, ‘God is a woman’, 'thank u next', '7 rings', 'Break Free' etc.) until reaching the holy popular trinity of 'Into You', 'One Last Time' and 'no tears left to cry'! (presuming we'd actually have lasted a while :lol:) ‘Focus’ :puke2: no thanx
