Yeah, this is essentially DCMU but lacking everything that made it so instant. Hopefully it's a grower.

Disappointing and underwhelming on first listen.

Cute bop, of course it's not DCMU because it was gonna be hard to get it SO perfectly right again but I like it and I can see it growing!

It looks like 'Don't Call Me Up' is pretty much a one-off for me then (and 'Fine Line' to a lesser extent).

This is a real ear worm! On first listen, I was unsure if I felt a bit underwhelmed cos I wanted it to go off a little harder but I’m finding myself really wanting to return to it. She’s got a strange charm as a vocalist even if she doesn’t seem to have a great deal of personality or star quality.

yeah i like it too!

 

i do agree with rob about her lack of personality and star quality though. she always seems incredibly blasé which is the complete opposite of her mother.
