We've had underrated, but now, to separate the stans from the Monsters... what is Gaga's most overrated song? Think about songs that are HUGE in the public domain, but really shouldn't be. Or think about songs that fans go on and on about... that really aren't her best.

This could get messy...

I love her music so much that it's extremely hard to pick anything tbh. At a push I'd say "Telephone" - great track but it's not exactly on a par with a song like "Marry the Night" which only has a tiny fraction of Telephone's sales :(

I'm going to start with Telephone too, which is fun... but simple. It doesn't really go anywhere as a song and the concept of it within the 'Monster'/fears album just isn't the greatest. I like it but yeah, overrated ~

Great minds think alike

Judging by reactions at the time, 'The Cure' is pretty overrated. It's a fun track and I like it but it is a bit on the basic side so I was a bit underwhelmed by the general consensus that it was better than anything from the Joanne era.

In terms of how it saved Joanne, I'll personally never get "Million Reasons". I don't feel like her ballads usually go down very well but I'm usually one of the lone fans, this is one of her weaker ballads for me, so I'm not sure why it did so well for her, but there we go.

In terms of this site (I think), "Marry The Night" for sure, I've always found the production to sound really cheap and tinny, one of the rare times (although it is too extreme) where I get that "Steps-lite" shit because it does have that kind of cheesy sounding instrumental for me. I don't think it's big as it wants to be. But still a solid pop song, an overrated Gaga song is still better than a lot of songs in most people's discography, let's be real!

Judas for me.

I never got into it and for some reason it sounds desperately a copy cat of Bad Romance structure!!

It has to be Bad Romance, whether one likes it or not. I know the type of response I'll get for that, but there are so many other songs I love of hers and I never understood why that one is the one that is talked about all the time. I do like it, don't get me wrong. Also, to a point, Shallow.

Agree with this one, I don’t think Marry The Night deserved significantly more success than it got. I find it repetitive and think there’s so much better on the album.

I’ve never been a Judas fan, but I don’t know if it’s rated enough to call it overrated. It felt like her first single to underperform compared to what could’ve been expected from her at the time

I can see where this is coming from. I’d call it overplayed rather than overrated though. Of course I was obsessed at the time, but I have grown tired of how highly it’s regarded when she has many songs that are just as good.

I’d add Poker Face too for similar reasons to Bad Romance. It’s good, but never has it been a BIG fave of mine

Triggered :(

Especially considering how euphoric and other-worldly the instrumental is!

I think the reason it's even more special is we heard the first few seconds of it during a video blog before the album was released and I instantly fell in love with the sound. Added onto that her soaring vocals, and one of her most empowering songs ever and WE HAVE A WINNER.

I get maybe we hype it up LOADS on the site but in the real world it's one of her least known singles and that kills me :(

Telephone is probably the most overrated single — I would have said LoveGame, G.U.Y. or Judas but two are mostly forgotten and the other was always divisive.

Speechless for most overrated album track~

None really...

I have learned to love Just Dance even.

EDIT: Maybe You and I but that video is so gorgeous and has always lifted the song for me.

The Edge of Glory is another but that's 9.5/10 too lol

Marry The Night & You & I are TraGic.

Born This Way and Million Reasons are also very overrated on here.

Despite the great messages within the song, it has to be Born This Way for me. One of her few songs that I no longer listen to much.
