Virgin EMI literally sent a press release to our offices the day before the song came out saying 'please note this is not a single'.

 

(I assume it was originally planned as a full single but Small Talk's performance gave them cold feet, so they decided to chuck it out on a Wednesday and not send it to radio)

I can verify I saw a photo of the press release a day before Harleys came out. It's not a single and it's not a case of "lol it's flopping so let's sweep it under the rug", or we'd be arguing it for Small Talk too. Not being sent to radio is a big indicator of the fact it's not a single. The insistence on the fact it obviously IS!!!111! a single is a little confusing when the evidence says otherwise!

It's been on there since release but that proves nothing. They supported Oops by Little Mix for weeks and that was never a single.

Tried so hard to like it, but I still don't like it :(

:lol: at this thread and this not being single. It has two videos, official single cover, promo singles doesn't get that.

 

anyway such a shame that this single flopped, it has that Katy feel good vibe. :wub:

Harleys was intended to be single 2 before we knew Small Talk so I assume these remixes were commissioned then?
